I hope after getting destroyed we will be able to follow the action going on (IE freezoom about the battlefield) so we can make some decent vids.
Also I hope that we will not be able to communicate to the surviving mechs (can see a problem with people using TS).

Unfortunately, it sounds like there will not be a freezoom type spectating after death. You will only be able to look at your teammates viewpoints. This question was also answered in the Q&A #3 http://mwomercs.com/...mation-warfare/
