I remember when I left my previous outfit. There were many issues and upon joining BWC, I could clearly see the difference. The organization and leadership is second to none. The leadership structure takes care of everyone and is very receptive to any and all comers. I have also noticed that the members take care of eachother and genuinely want to get to know the other members who joined, and it is because of this. That BWC is THE gaming family/community, and is the one that I have been looking for, for a very long time...[/color]

What I was Looking for in a Team

Having Trained in the Airforce ROTC, I knew I wanted structure in the group I played with, a group that would be coordinated, there with backup to support you when they gave you the order, and that were good at what we did. However it also needed to be a group in which I could rise to be a leader.
I played with previous groups where it was a buddy guild and the big boss only let his friends command and that was that... or groups where commands weren't followed and players openly mocked their leaders. Guilds where promotions were never clear and how to earn one was a mystery etc...

When I found BWC I found everything I was looking for in an outfit.

What I was looking for in a team.

When I decided to look for a team to play online games with I knew immediately that I needed to surround myself with mature, professional, intelligent people that love to game. I wanted to have fun. I wanted to win (where that is an intelligible condition). For me, the people I chose to spend my gaming time needed to be more than casual strangers. I have to like them. I have to want them to become friends.

What I was looking for in a team.

Well, generally I look for a few key things in a team. The two most important ones being organization and the general feel of the community. Whilst being super organized and good at a game is all well and good, if you can't enjoy yourself and don't have a sense of community, then I feel there is something strongly lacking in the group. This is something BWC is very strong with, it has an awesome community, as well as a very organized system.

What I was looking for in a team

I guess I'm pretty particular. I want a team that is honest with itself when it says it wants progression. "Are we where we need to be, or could we be better in some way? Is what we're doing something that is working, or are we just afraid to speak up because we're not sure what other people will think?" I want a team that is committed. When I decide to be a part of something, I'm all in, and I don't want to be a part of something that isn't all in with me; I expect as much back as I give, at some level.

Those qualities are how I define a team, and it's fair to say that not everybody agrees with me. I usually have a pretty difficult time when looking for a team to play with and spend a lot of time playing a game by myself or in pick up groups until I find exactly what I'm looking for. Not mostly what I'm looking for, but exactly, because then I know that I've found a team that values those qualities like I do.

What I wanted in a team was pretty straight forward: a bunch of guys who understood my job and the constraints that put on my gaming time. Also, guys who played to have fun, but were seriously committed to winning (after all, who doesn't have more fun winning than losing?) What I found was both of those things and more. A team of respectful, professional, and fun individuals; a training structure set up to improve the skills of noobs and veterans alike; more frequent events and operations than I could have expected, not only in game but IRL as well; and a chain of command that understood how to walk the fine line between disciplined gaming and realizing that this is just that...a game.

What I was looking for in a team.

When I started looking for a team I was looking for one critical component. Teamwork. It's not enough to find a group of players who say they want to jump into a VoIP server and talk to each other while they are playing the same game together. I had to find a group of players who were actually willing to work together in the game in order to win. It's just more fun to win with a team. I mean we all enjoy getting 100 kill streaks by ourselves, but how often can you really get that without suffering through multiple frustrating failures in a row? Even the best players do a lot better with a reliable team. You can dominate a game if you have a good team that actually watches your back. The other things that I was looking for were a strong organization and a healthy mixture of casual gaming environment and hardcore players who look for innovative ways to dominate multiple gaming arenas.

Sometimes you just want to come on and play a game with some friends. Sometimes you just want to relax and have fun. But other times you want to be able to get into serious mode and really dominate the game. Because let's face it, we all like to win.

What I was looking for in a team.

I was looking for a skilled group of player who were willing to work togather to achive greatness. I was tired of no matter what I did it really did not mean much in the long run because i was just a Lone Wolf and could only go so far.

I decided to leave my previous organization for two reasons primarily. The first was that hardly anyone PLAYED the game anymore, so having a large active playerbase that wasn't looking at leaving a few months down the road was important to me. The second was a lack of dedication on my outfitmates' parts - everyone logged in, shot some stuff, and logged back out without caring about how we could improve our teamwork, communication, or gameplay. In many ways they were satisfied with the status quo, and I wasn't.

In joining BWC, I found a group of people who met all the things I was looking for and many more that I wasn't. I've had some of the bast gaming exoeriences of my life with this Company.

What I was looking for in a team:

Leadership - BWC has many outstanding leaders, who help run the community, the in-game outfit, and lead down to the small squad level. They are experienced, confident, and patient with their members.

Competitiveness - BWC plays to win. We aren't around simply to have a "good fight" and shake hands with the enemy - we are aiming for victory and it shows from the top down. Players fight hard, and leaders push us to new heights

Family - I have seen members of this community work together for charitable causes, and help each other out in times of personal hardship. The teamwork isn't just on the battlefield, it lives on in our forums and in real life.

Why I started looking for a team to play with.

Really it’s for the comradely. It can get really boring playing by yourself. Plus when you play with a group you can really learn more about the game from others. Just random pick up groups I seem to die pretty quick and really there isn’t much learned or gained from that. Playing as a team you have better communication and can work together to win. Who doesn’t like to win? Not this girl! Thank you BWC for the great advice and fun!!

Why I chose to join BWC.

At BWC, we are more than just an effective combat force… we are a family. We help our fellow members to succeed. Senior, experienced members lift up new recruits on their shoulders, and help them achieve the next level in their game. No one is left out in the cold.

BWC has an extensive operations and training schedule. You can find a scheduled operation being run at most times of the day. You are encouraged to engage with teamates, complete missions together, and grow your skillset. BWC has put together an awesome collaborative gaming community for everyone to enjoy.

Before joining BWC, I was a complete amateur to the world of MWO, Planetside2, and War Thunder. After only a few months of training, missions and casual drops with my fellow BWC teammates, I’m light years ahead of where I would’ve been on my own. Sure, I may not be the best of the best just yet, but I have a ton of experience under my belt, and a close group of friends watching my back.

After learning about the all the work BWC does with charities and gaming organizations, I said this is a great thing to be a part of. Everyone chips in together, and BWC offers the opportunity to help out with projects around the globe. Not only is BWC a great place to come and game with cool people, BWC is a key presence in the video game industry.

Why I chose to join BWC.

I chose to join BWC because they are extremely organized as a gaming community. I happen to like the fact that BWC has military structure, every aspect of membership is thoroughly thought through. Even as a new recruit i felt that i was not overlooked and was made to feel like i belonged. Being so organized and professional contributes to wining, and every one like to win.

When I originally started to look for a new team, I was looking for the obvious things of course, do I get alone with the other people, are they skilled, and most important of all, do I fit in. These things are important for everyone, no matter what role you want to play in a game, you want to be with others that feel and act in the same general way. So more then just looking for a new team, I was looking for a new group of friends.

Why I chose to join BWC.

So The big Reason I joined BWC would be that their group "moto" and their direction matches myself. When I play a game these are the traits I am looking at in others to play with. Everyone is professional and mature with "ONE TEAM, ONE FIGHT" in their minds!

Boom. Headshot. Down goes the ol' Catapult. Bummer, I was just getting into the right position to start raining.
Next round. Boom. Both torsos gone. No clue as to what my cockpit is currently attached to. But it sure ain't weapons, because those are all gone. And, sure enough, the Cat crashes down once more.
Wait, don't recognize the names of those enemy pilots? And as soon as I realize I was actually downed twice in a row by the same pilot, he jots down something like "I thought that paint job looked rather new! Sorry you have to go at it again!"
Cheeky b*st*rds. Who are winning. And obviously showing off they're having fun at the same time. Then they flash their colors: www.the-bwc.com.
Oh, man. I'm SO in!

Organised, with the appropriate infrastructure to meet their goals, it was apparent that BWC was going places. Everything was geared towards being the best and smashing the rest. The resulting teamwork and skill is what drew me to apply with BWC. While stats may not reflect everything, my KDR improved by a whopping 4x since joining. I haven't regretted it. You won't either. Join BWC today!

Why I Joined BWC

I did not join BWC to play MWO, I joined BWC because they were involved with Star Citizen, and being an original backer of Star Citizen I originally only had the prospect of playing solo... Not that that is necessarily in issue, it is a game that lends itself to a joint approach. When I then saw the posters for BWC on Star Citizen, and it being a true Military style Company, I thought I’d take a closer look. You can immediately see thats its organised, it has purpose and vision with the ability to inspire more in people.

Since Joining I’ve now started playing MWO, and with the training systems in place, BWC makes sure that every member of the team knows how to get the best out of their Mechs, everyone helps to ensure everyone is an effective member of the team and no one on left out!

Why I chose to join BWC:
That has been an easy choice.
I was and I am still very much impressed by the high degree of professional teamwork, communication, and coordination within this outfit. We strike hard and we strike as one. Everything and everyone is following a plan to ensure victory and blow stuff up. We are hardcore, but we never forget that we play to have fun!

Why I chose to join BWC.
The BWC provides all I was looking for and more. Their MW:O related programs provide the training and guidance that will make any pilot a better pilot. Regardless how good you are. Damage mitigation training, wolf-pack tactics, communications training, to name but a few. Operations that expand the goals provided in-game; be it our in-house community warfare or simply Lore-based ops that introduce other goals than "Capture the flag" to name but two.

Our command provides a strong framework and organization that I have not experienced in any company, clan, guild or gaming community before, despite playing online games since the mid-90s.

BWC has high standards, but standards anyone can achieve with a little motivation, effort and discipline. Such discipline in combination with training changes any blob into an effective fighting machine.

One Team. One Fight.
