New Recruit reporting in! Thought I'd drop a line to show my support.

I've been with BWC for roughly six or seven years now and there is a very good reason for that. BWC is unique in that this community manages to incorporate the very best aspects of discipline, integrity, dedication but most of all fun. If you enjoy getting the most out of your gaming experience than BWC is an excellent option. Teamwork and camaraderie are the name of the game and in that game BWC is a heavy weight. I sincerely hope that those mature individuals looking for a truly dynamic and irreplaceable gaming experience will consider joining the BWC family.

I like what I see here. I'm a legendary founder, but still waiting for beta access for Mechwarrior. Can you say Early invite? *Crosses fingers, then goes back to biting them* The one thing that ruins most mmo games is a lack of dedication and teamwork in the clans, guilds and whatever else they call them, and time after time it's the same nightmare. I'm a disabled Veteran with a lot of time on his hands, and I would consider a privilege to work with you. Being a Navy puke, I'm not that great at strategy or tactics, but that's what commanding officers are for and I'm a fast learner. I'm looking forward to serving with you all, if you'll have me. I'll apply once I have access to Mechwarrior Online beta, as I have other commitments right now.

You guys still actively play PS? I'm rather impressed. I quit playing soon after Auraxis split and had a month so recently where I logged in to find the game nearly dead. I think I'll sign back up and give it a whirl.

See you there.

Indeed. I've only played PS off and on for 1-2 months, it's fairly new to me, but BWC has been really strong lately because of the free month, and the events that were planned. Last night we had a crap ton of people in game, it was quite a sight. Alot of the MWO guys like myself have been playing as well, either to get ready for PS2 or as something to enjoy until MWO.

We play several games. Its fun to go run around and kick butt no matter what game we play.

There are a lot of lessons to be learned from Planetside that are applicable to fighting with 'Mechs.

Don't sell yourself short, mate. Even us "Navy pukes" are capable of great things. Don't wait for BETA to sign up though. Get in now, just allow yourself an opportunity to get to know your fellow BWC members and then adjusting to the organized style of play and use of REAL tactics will go a lot smoother.

We do still play PS, in prep for PS2 to release soon. Amazing levels of competency and organization in this group. Yet we still manage to have fun and mess about a little now and then too.

Good times.... good times.

One thing I love about MWO is that I don't need the reflexes of a 12 year old. Situational awareness and sound tactics are more important, and old age and treachery will win out over youth and speed every time. :)

Well, I don't know about that. Us young guys can be pretty treacherous too, especially young navy pukes.Gotta learn to keep up with the old salty guys.

These young guys are running me around like a kid (just turned 46 last Thursday). I think between training and ops I played PS with them for about 20 hours over the last three days. It is really fun. Firefly is right...lots of ways working as a grunt rifleman crosses over to fighting mechs. What we're doing will definitely pay off. I plan on playing both MWO and PS2. That should keep me busy for quite some time.

Some of the other BWC guys have mentioned how much things they learn in Planetside crosses over into MWO. Truth is that a lot of things we use in our daily lives can cross over into MWO, or any other online game.

Respect, dedication, commitment, loyalty, honor, and teamwork are just a few. These things are also highly valued in BWC.

You don't have to think you are the best player of all time. In fact, if you think you are the best player ever, we probably don't want your ego in BWC. What we do want are people who enjoy kicking things into high gear with a solid group of organized people who know how to work together, complimenting each other's strengths and filling in for one another's weaknesses to make a unit that is unstoppable.

If you want to be part of a team like that, feel free to PM any member of BWC through these forums, or check out our forums at http://the-bwc.com.

Tell them 13lackRain sent ya!
