True.
I did a stint in the service (we've still got draft in my place, so everyone does it)
But I'm not a veteran. I'm also an EU player.
But I know that when it comes to organized playing having people who were professional leaders in military outfits is invaluable.
You can't just replace years of formal training combined with practical experience, even with 10+ years of guild leadership and raid organizing.
Never compete with a professional in his chosen field of expertise.

So what I do is learn from them, and I can say I'm getting better by the week.
This is, however, and that is a major point for me, only possible since there is a training program in the BWC where you learn all the stuff from people who know.
This begins with "how to set up voice comms properly" and "how do I communicate so everyone understands what I want" but goes up to fully fledged command training courses, if you want.
The thing is: if you already know the stuff - great. If you don't: no worries, we will teach you.

The result of this is great teamwork which doesn't suffer from childhood sicknesses.
You can actually focus on stuff like tactical movement and flow of engagement if the basics just work ™.
This naturally leads to a totally different game experience.

As a measure how much I cherish this count the number of my posts in this thread.
I do this on my own.
I'm not charged with keeping the thread up and I don't get anything for doing this, not even promotion points within the BWC.
I just believe that the outfit that I belong to is the best I've ever seen or participated in.

And I think that everyone who is looking for a gaming experience beyond just unloading your guns into random mechs during PUG drops should try and drop with a BWC 4 man to test what we are saying here.

This is my motivation.
(And if you read this post this far you're doing something wrong: Go, kill some stompy deathmachines instead ;) )

the-bwc.com

ps. If you want to get me by my word on doing 4mans - anytime, just drop me or any of the other BWC personnel a line. You can post in the recruitment forum as well. Just go ahead, someone will pick you up and get it done.
Looking forward to have you in the team.

On a sidenote:
teamwork is just overpowered.

This was a 4man with mates from the outfit today (a rather successful one too with 11 kills in our lance).
Just randomly dropping.
We haven't trained in this composition before, so its just how we do things.
If I am on a BWC 4man I expect to have 6+ kills in our lance, regularily more.
Damage usually is spread evenly in the team between 400 and 800, with peaks at 1200 and more (yeah, there are people doing 1300+ damage.... fenris for example... but he's a beast.)
We do lose.. of course we do. There are other very good teams out there.
But in random drops just not very often

I cannot stress enough the amazing experience I have had with BWC so far - it brought the MWO gaming experience to a whole new level for me. If you are looking for a highly structured organization, both in and out of the game, BWC is for you.

Tsk tsk, can't have this dropping to the second page. And who let Hangman back into a 'Mech? He's supposed to be up in the skies! Good work, gentlemen.

I guess he likes it for some outlandish reason.

The BWC is great - still a recruit, but the drops and missions have been a blast.

If you're into more organization and tactics vs normal PUG dropping, this is the group to run with - pretty consistently getting the best lance scores when dropping and working as a team - like someone else said, teamwork is OP!

Do you have a strong contingent of Aussie(GMT+10) or PACRIM timezone players?

Hi Khroe,

Glad you asked. I am a company commander and a PACRIM timezone player. We do have a solid PACRIM player base, and are currently looking at recruiting specifically for a PACRIM frontline unit. Apart from members actually living in this zone, we have a good number of zombie/insomniac Americans who take part in drops with us. Join us and find out more...and bring your friends :)

Metal is right you will never have to hunt for a group in BWC no matter what time it may be. Its hilarious to me to be loggin off at 2am and hear Metal and a few other joking about going to get Lunch! If you want to know what the weather is like in any specific part of the globe I'm sure we have a few people that can help lol. The diverse background of BWC is one of the things I love the most. The accents in team speak could make for a very interesting running joke.....

A Brit an Aussie and Yank all on the same drop ship.....Hilarity in a can my friends!

The Oceanic time zones are an area we'd like to really bolster. We have a decent amount of players, but the more we have, the stronger they all are. So we encourage you to apply and help us find more.
