BWC has got an amazing (and pretty big) group of people. At the rate we are growing, we will be forced to further divide our units and before we know it, we are going to be able to field complete battalions of 'mechs on a moment's notice. Kinda gives me a chubby!

And yes, I have to agree, now that we have our own dedicated training server, it is nice because we can work on various aspects of working as a team without being on public servers. Nothing wrong with pub'n now and then though.

Running blue force/red force trainings is fun. It will be nice when this game goes live and we can get out of what we are using for training.

We had sixty people from BWC online at the operation tonight. Sixty folks. At once. From BWC. Conducting air assault missions all night long.

And it was freaking awesome! One full platoon of thirty, a spec ops squad of infiltrators and pilots, and an over flow squad with members rotating in and out as the op went on. Battle comms were tight. All orchestrated by the HMFIC and his C&S. We always talk about hot dropping mechs out of dropships...on PS we hot drop into incoming AA fire with enemy fighters trying to shoot us down at the same time. Into bases with infantry waiting for us. Tonight's op was cool in that we had three squads each dropping on enemy towers and bases at the same time and effing them up!

Imagine when Community Warfare starts up...three lances of BWC mechs coming to say hello...who's side you want to be on?

How many people do we have? More than one...acting as one.

I've only been in BWC for a couple or more weeks now, and I must say I was a bit apprehensive of the type of reception I would get there since I've a civilian background. In fact, I was worried about chest-thumping, epeen waving, chickenguts displaying, "Shouty McLoudface" types. I was pleasantly surprised that the folks I encountered were mature, helpful, patient, disciplined individuals (men and women alike) who take the time and present opportunities for one to develop his/her skills with a strong focus on teamwork which ultimately leads to great camaraderie.

If you can follow directions, follow chain of command, and not act like a self-serving jackass, then BWC might be your ticket to some great gaming.

My app is in . So( old guy who walked up hill both ways in the snow with no shoes to get anywhere..) anyway, when i joined a raiding guild in EQ1, i had to do this same process and then in game had to go through a Q&A with the recruitment ppl about my class. Then the 30 day trial time started in which if you on and any guildies needed help in anyway , you were there. Now come raid time you were there earlyand as stand by in case they were short and i waited at lest an hour after they filled to replace d/c ppl or those with RL needs. Then at the end of 30 days you still needed 10 yes votes to get in but even with 10 yeses 5 no votes sunk you.In todays WoW mentality im a dinosaur, i do not think so. Its not what your country can do for but can you do for your country is lost on many( but it is game so with fun tho everyone likes to win =] )

Yeah we don't have a Q&A session or voting. That's way more effort than necessary. It's very simple: our very simple copy/paste application process and ultimately our SOP weeds out the weak and the unable.

And yet, we have at least one [redacted] trolling our thread whining about how it's so hard to get in.

It's funny the amount of people that can't follow simple instructions.

In any case I'm looking forward to winning a spot in the Trial for Postion in a few days.

Ustashi...

We don't have that kind of BS. A simple process that is user friendly. As you'll find out since you applied! See you later.

Last night's operation was A W E S O M E !

50+ people in two platoons. TS server was a packed house. More people joining as we went along. Everyone working together to keep the VS and NC on their toes in the their own holdings.

The new guys who had never played did a great job of following basic orders and staying their posts. Those of us with only a few weeks experience got the opportunity to feel like we weren't the noobies. The true vets got into the spirit and helped the new guys learn on the fly.

The best way to sum it up in a word: A W E S O M E !

When we drop the bomb on MWO, it's going to be glorious! Come join us and be a part of the team.
