It's an MMO-FPS. Basically, you and thousands of other people at the same time on the same server in a 100% persistent environment shooting it out, tanking it out, air-battling it out, whatever you want to do.

The beta is currently up, so not long, but I don't know what the release date is. Don't step into the game thinking its a normal FPS though, because it's a different combat dynamic than any other FPS. You'll only survive going in with the group mentality.

And what in god's name is that video. I want those 4 minutes of my life back.

I am so excited that I have found the BWC.
I've always wanted to play Planetside, but was too young to convince my parents it was a good idea.
Now with PS2's F2P, and MWO's F2P, I can take part in some amazing games with one of the most, if not the most, impressive gaming collectives out there.

I actually liked the first 3/4 season of the season one but felt it was starting to come apart near the end. Season two has been a lot better, at least so far. I like Falling Skies because it's closer to what I think an invasion would be like: humans overwhelmed by superior tech, people struggling to survive; none of this Independence Day BS.

As for Continuum, it's not playing in the US that I know of, had to go to good ol' IMDB to get the skinny on it

Hello folks, are you tired of playing in pugs and getting your rear end handed to you? Have you tried other groups and they are all flash but no play? The you ought to give the BWC a try. We are a mixed group of active service retired service and have never been int he service group of folks. We base out structure on the military not because we are that dang "ate up" with the military, but because it works best for getting folks to talk to who they need to. We have lots of people to play with, we offer training and help with mech builds.

We are a great bunch of people. and every so often (if you listen hard) you might even hear one of the females we have speak. So put in an Application (it's not hard) and see what all the fuss is about. Become a member before we get famous as the best team (or one of the best) out there.

The second season has already been ordered (first season finale was last week). Good show, probably the best scifi series currently on TV (not that it's quite that great, but the competition is currently quite poor).
