After watching the interview with Russ and seeing the game running only served to reinforce the fact that I will absolutely be playing this game.

(If you want to discuss the trailer or see it there is already a post about it so direct your comments about it there)

But the thought of "shut up and take my money" led to an interesting question that I think warrants discussion. Now I was thinking that I would buy basically any and all items off this game JUST for the reason of I think they are doing great work and deserve any money I can shuffle their way. But on that note I realized something that may not have been brought up in other topics.

Payment methods.

In other F2P games (or any game your putting money into) the payment methods vary but some are harder to make happen then others. An example is Wakfu, this MMO just went live with credit card being the ONLY option for subscription fee and only certain cards are allowed. On top of that since they are a french company when you try to pay them your bank/card may flag the transaction due to the money is being sent over seas. This has been a problem for about 25% of the community. (personally I have tried to subscribe 3 times with no luck so making it hard to give them my money is kinda turning me off the idea)

Other games allow game cards to be used for payment but only for certain items.

ANYWAYS point I'm trying to make is what options would YOU the community like to see available at launch to give these guys your money :P cause they deserve every cent. When it comes to taking peoples money you should making it as accommodating as possible.

I would like to see as many options as possible, everything from Credit Cards to Game Cards I can pick up at Gamestop or Walmart.

Anyways this is getting really long and its kinda dry topic but one that I thought should be brought up for the Devs to think over so that on launch day they can take any and all money we shovel their way :D

standard credit cards, paypal for those of you who actually trust paypal (I don't having $500 stolen and never returned); send bank checks or money orders thru snail mail, gift cards at major outlets, WalMart, costco, kmart, whatever works, or a slot in my special mwo only keyboard, mouse, joystick, pedals, thruster that takes plain hard cash without having to deal with all the other bs.

BSGO (processing their CC stuff in Russia) sent major pain to my Credit Card company for even the smallest transactions, it was such a hassle I basically didn't even bother (and this was for like $2-$5 transactions).

If the majority of your player base is located in one country, please make sure your processing company has a presence in that country, or at least a server so we're not getting DoSed from our own financial institutions.

and this is the proper way to throw money...

Payment options might also be restricted based on how PGI (or Infinite Game Publishing Inc. ?) decides to electronically distribute the game; like with Steam, Origins, or Impulse.
