You might try using a ps/2 to usb connector and some dual-analog controller drivers.
I have an Xbox 360 controller hooked up to my PC and it just works natively.

THANKS !!! I WIll try that.. but the code goes over my head.. I can use the heck out of programs, root and upgrade cell phones and even build my own computers and deisgn my own websites (With pre 2000 HTML code
) but getting into drivers and controllers is where I tend to get screwed up.
BTW Bandit... What dual analog controller drivers did you use..?

OK the breakaway on the old Xbox360 does not work on old Xbox controllers
The Breakway ends are NOT PC PS/2 so no luck there
No one makes a Xbox to USB convertor.. so looks like I won't be able to use it on the PC..
That said, looks like I got lucky in that the FPS Gamester controller came in PS2 and Xbox variety (Although the PS2 one is much rarer and expensive)..
That said, they do make a PS2 controller to PS3 controller convertor patch cable
AND
PS3 uses USB
AND
Found a PS3 USB controller driver for Windows 7
Soon all will come together in time for MW:O
