News flash, they are very different games, and all light 'mechs (really mediums too for the most part) were useless in MW4 online play.
Im assuming its a bad mech because its 15 tons lighter than the jenner but goes the same speed.

Well, just about every role has already been fairly adequately covered with the 'mechs already in the game, if you want to make that argument. The BattleTech universe has never been realistic in this regard. There are way, way more 'mechs than real-life militaries could ever justify building.
But in a game about giant walking combat robots, you can never have too many giant walking combat robots!

Don't get me wrong, the art is lovely, it's FD for God's sake, but I was looking foward to the next assault. You know, considering it would make sense. Nevermind, iffy 'mech, but great artwork, as always.

I'm a little biased because I'm a heavy/assault mech pilot. Right now we have one

It's pretty much certain that the special mech 16 was/is the Highlander, which has been leaked out on the forums. With their surprise ruined I suspect they just decided to go back to the Wednesday releases...
