Well the budget I'll be looking at for the moment appears to be ~$650ish at the moment. So I'm debating on a tower or waiting for the Trinity APUs to come out later this year and getting a laptop.

But here is the tower idea:

Cooling;

OS: WIn8 demo (will purchase win 7 later in year.)

http://www.newegg.co...octua%20thermal (best thermal paste around)
Just thought i'd throw that in here. =p

Honestly, if you have a semi capable computer right now, i'd wait for trinity.
Could you post your current specs?

Phenom II X4 N930 2GHZ
Mobile Radeon HD 4250
4 GB RAM

Should tell you enough ^^'
And eh, the GELID GC-extreme trades blows with the noctura paste, and is supposed to last longer... sooo... I'll go with the GC-Extreme. Some reviews say it outperforms the Noctura paste, others say the noctura paste is better. Eh.

That looks like a good build to me. I would suggest a different case though. I had a friend who used the case you have listed and had a lot of problems with the front connectors on it. Had to RMA three times to get a case that worked.

Eh I don't use the front I/O panel much. And I'm going for the fact that it has the ability to hold a Hyper 212 Evo, larger graphics cards, comes with three fans, can mount a good number of fans, and with a modular power supply and decent cable routing has decent airflow for a mid tower.
And it's $50.
It's also a bit wider than the redbone / u3 I was looking at which looked cooler but I figured the destroyer held more so eh.

And if I get a larger budget I'll get this probably; http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811517012
or perhaps this if I got more fans for it; http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811146084
