[Smurf O Pax]

Some Mechs like the unseen Battlemaster feature a Cockpit with place for 2 persons. I think it would be a nice addition if you could ride in a mech with 2 persons. sure not on default but as option

for example with the Battlemaster
one guy could have fun stomping around with the battlemaster ... the other guy is more the commander and has fun in coordinating the battle from his map ... both ride in the same mech

what do you say?

That's one of theese features which would be nice to have, but would not be easy to implement.

How would you assign a commander/passenger to the mech with the dual cockpit/command console?
How would you balance teams so that the commander was accounted for, but the sides would still be balanced?

The idea of incorporating a Battlemaster (another Dougram: Fang of the Sun mecha) is very, VERY old. The MW4 leagues had threads about it for the past, oh, 8-10 years. My recommendation was to use the MW4 interface for the pilot and a mechcommander 2-style interface for the mission commander. With Pirana doing both MWO and Mechwarrior Tactics, maybe that two seater command mecha could become reality now.

Mechcommander with real pilots in the mechs??

could have 2 people pilot a mech one from the front view and one from the back / side with an option to allow any team member on your side to allow them into the cabin /shrug?
