I know alot of you (Vulpes and Catamount come to mind) keep up on all the latest tech news and it got me to thinking, where does everyone get the majority of their information?

I personally use http://www.anandtech.com and http://www.tomshardware.com to get the supreme, vast majority of my tech related news. But I know there are quite a few other sites out there. So fellow MechWarriors, where do you all go for tech news?

Real techies go to the [H] that is hardforum.com its a great place but also check out overclock.net and if you want somewhere where even the stupidest tech question will be answered nicely check out ninjalane.com plus they have awesome hardware reviews.

Me personally, the two sites I go to most often are HardOCP.com and techpowerup.com, I check them daily
Weekly: Tomshardware, and cpu-wars.com, x-bitlabs, and anandtech.

forget [H], to many A-holes there. You ought to be able to ask any question and not be treated like a 1d10t. I almost exclusively use techpowerup.com for that reason. Same name there as I use here.

Hey Vulpes, what name you use at TPU?

dang, I can do a-hole, but not 1d10t?

Nah the [H] just requires a thicker skin than most forums and as long as you stay out of the news and vid card/ processor sections you can avoid most oft eh drama, TPU is another great site though. While I have been on Toms hardware for years I really can't stand their format, it's great for the layman but not the power user.

[H]ardforum and ninjalane. Those two have helped me with all of my builds, from my very first n00b build to the beast that I am working on now.

I also like HardOCP and TPU. For reviews I also go to Guru3d a lot (especially for GPU reviews).

Beyond that, forums like this usually tend to have discussions on current and upcoming tech. It's a good way to keep up on news that otherwise slips by me.

http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/
http://techreport.com/ (Esp. for their Shortbread)

The Register, Hexus, Toms Hardware a little, GIzmodo, Engadget.

Sometimes use others as well, I find El Reg and Hexus to be less partizan than the others though. Sometimes reading Gizmodo and Engadget feels like reading The Apple News Service.
