Hm, I might be one of the older players... I am 52, and played the original Mechwarrior and almost every Battlemech cannon game after- I did not play Crescent Hawk.

Seeing Mechwarrior on a friends PC got me to go out and get .5 meg more ram for my computer, so I could run my pirated copy. Cost 110$ too, in those 1992 (was it?) dollars.

Multiplayer Battle Tech Online was awesome and my first subscription service on Kesmai. I was quite sad when the 3D 2035 failed to launch, but given the huge negativities of the community I am not super surprised. I swear that game, flawed as it was in Beta, was nagged to death.

I'll be 65 in June. I'm really looking forward to rejoining the Mechwarrior universe. I'm tired of the fantasy mmo's and need something with some serious 'beef'. Played WoW for seven years, only because there wasn't anything better out there. Previously I played Star Wars Galaxies, until SOE destroyed it. I'm currently playing SWTOR, passing the time until I can climb back into the cockpit of a battlemech.

34. I have played some MW2, cant get it working on modern computers, MW3 but really came into it with MW4. As usual as soon as I find something I like Microsoft close down the studio that produces it. Same as they did with Starlancer and Freelancer. Really looking forward to MWO.

Just turned 20 on Wednesday. Was introduced to the MW series way back in the 3rd grade by a friend of mine. His father had MW3, and I got hooked fast. After playing MW4, the expansions, and Mechcommander, I'm hooked for life.

49. BT fan since I discovered it in 1985.

Been enjoying serious PvP MMO's for a long time, because there's nothing better than killing teenagers and 20 somethings who think they're good.

I am 19. I bought MW2 when I was very little and I've been hooked ever since! I remember my parents couldnt drive me to get MW4 when it came out so I walked miles to get it! I was in elementary school then, haha. Now I am in college.

48. I have been into BT/MW since it's inception. Hand painted all my lead mechs. Played all the computer versions, plus MWLL. This game seems like the answer to my dreams. I am not quite as hard core as some of the folks here. But I intend to make my presence known. Long live House Steiner!
