25. I played all the Mechwarrior games from Mechwarrior 2 and on. I started playing when I was around 7 or 8. I love battletech and I wish I was born a few years earlier so I could enjoy the battletech univers when it was just starting out as a Board game.

32 this October. Played the Sega Battletech and MW3-4, read almost all the books, have the TCG somewhere in this house, and dabbled in the TT. I can honestly say that this is one of the few games I have been truly stoked about in a loooooooong time. I think the last one to get the blood pumping like this was Front Mission 3 for the PS1.

Wow there are some old farts here. I am 45. Some of these folks must have started Mechwarrior by carving models out of the leftover stone from the wheel they just made.

Currently 40. Been playing BT off and on since I was 17. Still have my original boxed sets on the shelves right behind me, but can't get a game going to save my life. Too many RL things going on with everyone. Ah, for the days when I could play through a week and a half planetary invasion....

MW2 was my first Btech experience, MW2: Mercenaries was probably my favorite game. I still remember the mission where you can doublecross your employer and get double amount of credits... epic times

edit: oh, and trying to "headshot" a mech so you could salvage almost all of it

19 right now, first Mechwarrior game was MW4. I really got into it though once I got Crysis and started playing Mechwarrior Living Legends though. Been pretty interested in the Battletech as well, but being a poor college student I had to make the decision between video games or tabletop games as a hobby sadly.

61, damn did I say that out loud? Played my first MW type game on the Commodore 64 with green ray trace graphics. Have played many of the versions since and read quite a few of the books. Although At my age I can't remember which ones.

I turn 50 this October. I have been playing BT/MW since the beginning. I am a life member in the Virtual World Explorers League (if you don't know what that is, ask a very old geek).

37, I have been playing since the late Eighties. All in all it's been a fun ride, hopefully my new cockpit will have a bobblehead on the dashboard and run on Unleaded.
