24 here. Started with MechCommander 2. Cool to see that I am on the younger end of the player base. Hopefully this means we will have mature players who want to work with their Lancemates! If so, then this game becomes even more promising.

I started with Mech Commander (use to play it all the time during the mplayer days) and MW2, and I'm only 23. When I played MW4 online I was afraid to use my mic because my squadmates would brush me off as a young kid. I remember being all hyped up for Mech Commander 2 in about the 5th grade. :(

It's been a long time coming, but we're finally getting a proper new mech game. Can't wait.

I knew I'd see a spike around the 25 year mark but wow does this graph skew towards older players. That is really amazing.

41 here. Started with Mechs a loooong time ago... :(

Glad to see I'm not the only old b*stard around.

Just remember guys, no matter how good the game is, get your workout on! It makes aging a hell of a lot more palatable...

Mplayer was the shiznit. I was a wizard and a sage, and a beta tester. I really miss that community. The voice chat was very cool. Too bad Gameplanet didn't implement that when they bought out Mpath and all the rights to the chat room setups.

31. Played some of the MechWarrior video games, read some of the books, watched the animated series, and played the Dark Age Miniatures game.

Not as many old timers as I expected (I'm one 55). I only play the computer games, the board games just never caught my attention.

I'm 28. I wonder if the fact that the majority of the players who voted are in the 26-30 range is related to the release of most of the MW video game titles when were in middle school/high school/early college. In other words, we didn't have anything else to do, so we blew mechs up in our spare time. :D

Turned 40 a few months back. Started playing MW2 as it was waning in popularity and joined a clan and in went into full multiplayer for MW3 on the Zone. I've been hooked on it for a long time.
