Impossibru. There wasn't enough time to finish the exam.

I'm listening to this while playing MWO right now. Really great mix of themes. Thanks for sharing that link.

Just friend all the people in the beta client and talk to someone when you see them online, then y'all can set up drops together. We're all online at different times, so the chance of us all being on at the same time is pretty low.

Your name appears in the first post. =P

Alright. Currently doing so. I'm a bit tired of going in all PUG. hahaha

Just wanted to ask about your favourite mechs and play style right now, mostly out of curiosity, but I also what to know how we'll be playing if we are together in the same team ^^U
I mostly pilot light mechs, but I can adapt to almost any style, my current favourite mech is the Raven for it's versatility.

I like the jenner too, but... for some reason I prefer the raven (maybe those ballistic hardpoints have something to do with that). Also I'm looking for the release of the Cicada, I want to try it.
By the way, I've watched your video, it's useful and makes good use of those youtube comments xD, you should link it at some jenner guide as it can be of help to some of the more recent players.

Well, y'all that I've played with already know I love me some COM-2D. Lots of hit-and-run Striker fun.

Other than that, I've got an AWS-8T loaded up with 2xLPL, 2xSRM4, AMS, and as many heatsinks as I could fit. Stock speed. About maxed out armor as well. It's a great 'Mech to follow along with another Assault and provide direct, close-range fire-support. Plus it can take the heat off the other guy if need be, with all that armor. It can pick off Lights fairly-well, too. I'm hoping the advent of DHS will make it a bit more effective, though what it could really use is a little boost of some kind to LPL. They just seem a bit ineffective sometimes. I dunno what they need exactly... In any event, I still manage to do quite well with it with a competent team that knows how to make use of Assaults soaking up damage and pushing the line forward and such.

Also, I'll be grabbing me a Centurion again once they fix the No Armor bug. Love that 'Mech as well. Might have to give the Cicada a spin at some point, too. Light Hunter sounds fun.

I like my Raven, but i don't do much in the way of damage or kills in it. I use it mostly to guard assault mechs from attacks from lights. It gives the enemy lights something to either focus on or run from so that my teams heavy hitters can do their job without being harrassed by the enemy's ankle biters.

Since the trail mech rotation I've been favoring the Centurion over my Raven. I like it's slower pace and energy loadout. Gotta be careful with heat though.

I would like try the Cicada when it comes out. Last I heard it's due out this month. Maybe it'll be in tomorrows patch.

I use a founder's catapult, minus the jump jets, more heat sinks XL engine 300 and extra LRMs
That and a Jenner (the model with no misiles) and XL engine.

What configuration do you have in your Raven? Maybe we can give you some tips. ;)

How about using normal Large Lasers? They would give you extra range and less heat in exchange for a bit of damage.

Well, I had dual Large Lasers on there originally. Think that's what the -8T has by default, along with some LRMs. I haven't tried them since they made those ROF tweaks and such, but, I know I didn't much care for them before. The Pulse's feel like they're a bit better to use at SRM range, anyway: can just keep slagging armor and occasionally missile'ing them until they explode. It's really a nice loadout to supplement another Assault with more hard-hitting weapons.

If it's about short range combat, then I guess LPL's could be better than LL's, still I don't like the extreme amount of heat they give.
Anyway, if tomorrow patch is going to add DHS, heat would become less of an issue.
By the way, it must be really scary having to fight that awesome, I would find it even scarier with SSRM's, but still... (that is, from a light mech pilot point of view ^^U).

Congratulations to members of the Gensoukyo Merc Group dropping successfully today! Even though the drops were filled with getting used to C3, and my overclocked graphics card crashing!

Jenner pilot until the cicada, and then depending on the size of the Cicada I may stay jenner until/if clan mechs show up, then uller/vixen pilot depending on size profiles for the two.
I like my mechs fast, low profile, and packing heat.
... Of course all this requires me to get a half decent PC too.
