some of it's good but theres a few points that I feel are irrelevant to MW:O.That you are misunderstanding why they do not work.
first is mechs are designed to be superior to all other platforms of the same weight (the balance is price). Also this is a non-issue the devs already stated there will only be mechs in the game at launch (I imagine it will stay that way for quite awhile)
Secondly Boating/overpowered custom mech designs is NOT a bad weapon balance issue. The problem is when you let min/maxers (munchins) have virtually free reign to combine things. Also it gets worse the more complicated the customization system. Don't believe me just take a look at TT RPGs. The more redundant stats and features you give me is simply the more that I dump in favor of buffing powerfull ones.
