I have started to do something similar to the Vulture with the MadCat, but want to make a better job of it, made a post with screenshot on pg.5 of the MadCat start.

Good god, man! I hope you're not unwrapping every piece? That'd be suicide! It looks phenomenal, but ... boy, I don't envy the job you've given yourself.

Do you have schematics on hand, or is it largely conjectural? I think there are a set of blueprints out there for the vulture somewhere... I know there is a set for a lot of the unseen from way back (I have a blueprint for the old Marauder framed on my wall).

Gorgeous work! The Mad Dog is my all-time favorite chassis, so I'm excited to see your project.

If I may offer one small critique, the Prime variant is equipped with LRM20s in the side torsos, not 15s.

Awesome work,looks like it's done with blender judging from the mesh.

Where did you get the blueprints?,i tend to make allot of things in blender and always had to improvise my mechs because i am short on reference.

To be honest with you mate, I dont have a bloody clue what any of that is ;) I only started modelling a couple of months ago :P Could you explain?

Cycles offers more realistic lighting and faster render times.

If you have a good gaming PC with a good GPU then cycles is prob a good choice.

This looks really cool!. What about the myomer muscles? Or did they add that in later on in the BT universe to explain things. Either way the renders look so detailed!

Standard Myomer was first developed in 2350. Almost a full century before the first battlemech. Without it, we would be tank drivers, instead of 'mech pilots.

The first page from the original print of TRO 3050 has a 3/4 view of the Mad Dog's internals. You can see more of what's inside the torso than the front view that's posted in this thread. I could scan it and post it if you don't have a copy of that particular image. I haven't checked online to see if someone already has though.

Since I've completed my TWolf, I was thinking of building this as well to add to my collection. Just... Not in such insane detail as you're doing here. I think that would be the death knell for my PC!
