InnerSphereNews is a staff account. I don't know what else you want.
Staff does not equal Company on forums, facebook or twitter. PR is handled by a separate company brah. Wouldn't be the first time an error has been made by a PR company on an announcement. Would be nice to have a actual PGI person post to support the announcement and not a IGP. DEV vs PUB let the battle begin!

Anyway, someone should transfer some of the main sticky and issue threads from the beta forums to the main forums including the list of features remaining and the timeline.
Here are some items in particular ...
- graphics and game play are generally good - low end systems may have issues
- economy may need some additional tweaking
- weapon balance and heat may need some tweaking
- MATCH-making would appear to still be an alpha version - there is no lobby or front end - premade groups are possible but they often drop against random groups unless they join out of game efforts to try to launch at the same time - premades are organized on a 3rd party TS server generally
- maps are random so selecting mechs to fit maps isn't an option
- there are only 4 maps with one version each though a total 6 and some alternates of the existing maps are planned in the next couple of months
- the TRIAL mechs available to players who are just starting and do not purchase MC to buy customizable mechs do not generally have a good balance of heat for their weapons - this makes them harder to play ... though they are playable with a little experience
- there is no tutorial or other in-game method of learning the controls except reading the forums and joining a match
- there are bugs though not necessarily that frequent in my experience - some could be "features" - e.g. internal damage without armor being breached (this is a possibility in TT so it may be intended).
- ECM, BAP are not yet in
- Jump jets still need to be fixed (the number of them equipped has no impact on performace - so fitting one is sufficient at the moment)
- it will take on the order of 30 matches in trial mechs for a player to earn enough cbills for a light mech
The game has huge potential ... it is a fun, generally fast paced, team mech combat game ... many of the above issues should be fixed prior to release/open beta ... but who knows for sure ... which is why it seems a bit early to lift the NDA to me.

While some of that is legit, it does NOT take any 30 matches to get enough for a light.

By this I mean: Do you guys want raw screenshots and video that haven't been touched, or can people submit edited videos and screens to make them look more artistic or whatever.
