In the gameplay that I have seen so far, I have only seen LRM's, SRM's, PPC's, machine gun's, Autocannon's, and Laser's. Are Pulse lasers, guass cannon's, and flamer's still in the game?

Yes - Pulse Lasers, Gauss Rifles, and flamers are in the game as well.

ER versions of Large Lasers and PPCs are included too.

Extended Range. They shoot farther but produce more heat as a trade off.

Salvage comes in the form of C-Bills only. You can't salvage enemy Mechs or their weapons at this time.

Salvage is a c-bill reward that you only get if you win

the amount of c-bills you get is determined by the value of the intact components of mechs that your team killed

thx

You never need to go "oh man I wish I'd randomly get a gauss rifle from the salvage" because you can simply buy a brand new one off the shelf.

With regard to the weapons, is it possible to fire selected ones, like the LRM, instead of all of them at once? The target can be out of range for all weapons except the LRM, yet everything will fire, causing heat issues. In case it matters, I am still using the trial mechs, so that issue may not apply to purchased mechs.

Yes, you are probably using default weapon groupings that result in alpha strikes.
Read up on how to set weapon groups.

Sure you can, wolfpuppy. Even though, you always have to fire a weapongroup, you can have up to six different of those groups. Enough to make such selective choices when firing.

Correct, non-trial Mechs you can set Weapon Groups.

You can set weapon groups in the trial mechs, too.
