My forum account won't stay logged in despite selecting keep me logged in. It happens in both chrome and ie in windows 8. I am using a MacBook air 2012 and cookies are not disabled. Thanks

Apparently the option to "keep me logged in" only means keep you logged in as long as you are on the website (so if you theoretically never left the page, you would stay logged in.

It's kind of silly and a bit annoying, but you have to log in every time if you have not logged in very recently x_x

This is a known and far-reaching issue. There is no fix.

The other silly thing it does is not redirect to the page you were on if you're browsing the forums as a guest and log in.

Working as intended.
Its not a "remember me" or "Keep me logged in forever" function.

If you dont have that box marked then you get logged out after 10-15 minutes from the website, if you mark the box then it should keep you logged in as long as you do not close the window or navigate away from the site.

Been countless posts on this before, search is your friend, use it.

The cookie will still expire if there is no activity after a certain period of time even with the "stay logged" checked and keeping the browser tab on the same site.

Working as intended -- but perhaps the security rules can be relaxed now that NDA is lifted?

The problem definitely needs fixing. My authentication goes off after a day of inactivity. Why should I enter login and password every day? This is horrible.

This is done to prevent hackers from gaining access to your accounts, and by extension, the stuff that you paid for. Or something like that.
