DRAAGUN is recruiting. We're an established unit that has been in previous Battletech/MechWarrior games and have been involved with the beta early on.


Our History

We formed in 1996 on AOL's Multiplayer Battletech: Solaris. After Solaris, DRAAGUN was able to maintain its prestigious status as an elite unit through MPBT 3025 and MechWarrior 4.

With an unprecedented march into the Solaris Lance League, DRAAGUN finished Season I as undefeated league champions. They followed up on their success by defending their crown while repeating as champions in Season II. To cap off a remarkable three championships in four seasons run, DRAAGUN went on to capture the final Solaris Lance League championship in Season IV, once again solidifying their elite status.

DRAAGUN continued their domination by competing against 64 teams and eventually winning the Kesmai sponsored Ultimate Pilot Championship. These team titles earned by DRAAGUN, along with several individual championships such as Santa Comes to Solaris, has cemented DRAAGUN's legendary status throughout the Battletech community. The legendary unit continues the fight in MechWarrior Online with new blood and a strong core group of original founders.

MechWarrior Online

DRAAGUN has welcomed old Solaris players as we have gathered up our friends from other units, from over 16 years ago! We plan on growing our numbers while maintaining a close knit group and plan to become one of the most feared units in the game.

We have participated in the first Run Hot or Die Tournament and currently in the Run Hot or Die League.


DRAAGUN Team vs Team Network

We have established a TeamSpeak3 server for organizing team vs team drops. We are the first to organize anything like this and with this, we have shown everyone that we are serious about getting together and forming a closer community.


Twitch.tv Live Streaming / Recorded matches

We record our matches and have the ability to live stream for training purposes. These are obviously password protected, but as a member you would have the ability to view all of these.



APPLICATION INFORMATION

We expect our applicants to do the following:

• Players must post an application on our website at [pending] - for now you can PM me.
  
• Players must be able to fit in with our style of game play.
  
• We use TeamSpeak3 for in game communication. You must have a mic and be able to speak to us through TS3.

Application process is pretty simple. We have a few basic questions but the real test is real drops with us. We'll test you out during lances and we'll see how it goes.

Haven't been able to enter the Draagun.com website, and found no way to apply other than registering for access. I noticed you have a requirement that members use Skype. I've been thinking I should sub to Skype to talk with my son in Germany and my Sis in Spain, but haven't moved on that yet. Saw your teamspeak3 team challenge site but nothing beyond that.

Draagunmwo.com looks like it is under construction.

Snailio recommended I drop in, but other than registering it looks like thre is nothing else I can try and do there and little current info seems available.

I was thinking Draagun might be a good match for me, but if y'all aren't active then I'll have to look elsewhere. It is looking like my other guild isn't going to invest in MWO because of the lack of community warfare and only one match type, so I'll need to hook up with some other outfit.

Bump for greater justice. Anyone with competent skills who is looking for a competitive home I would suggest you check us out. I would encourage anyone who had a background in MPBT: Solaris/3025 to chat us up. We have become quite a collection of former MPBT units fighting under one banner for this new battletech incarnation.
