Youtube user named "Anymuster" posted a 3D remake of the 31st Century combat intro movie. I found it to be absolutely brilliant. Sure there might be a few flaws, but if you can get over it, then you can see it's a job well done.

Niiiice. Loved the first one, though. I've never played MechWarrior... but it looks absolutely fantastic.

Watching that just brought back so many memories... When i bought my first PC it was a gateway and CAME with a copy of Mechwarrior 2. I saw that disk and was like "this looks cool" I installed it and was playing a few mins after..... and was playing and playing and playing for like 5 hours straight and from then on Wolf Clan forever. thank you for posting this i can almost smell the new PC again

Seen both videos. They are absolutely amazing. The first one came out when i was trying to make my own remake. After seeing that though, I thought I'd lay off until my skills increased and was able to do as much justice to the original that one had.

Also, it's videos like these which have sustained my mechwarrior addiction since I got bored of MW4 mercs.

That mechwarrior intro make mechs seem awfully brittle.

Thx for that 1st vid. I actually thought that is what we`d be seeing visually in Mech games by now. Something more realistic visually, as apposed to gamey.

I remember that video well and thought also that it was very highly made and worthy of a BattleTech/MechWarrior sticker slapped on the side of it (certainly it was much better than the intro for MechWarrior 4!)

The only problem with that video, for me, has been that it has the bad habit of managing to crash my computer whenever I try watching it 2 or more times.
