I'm pretty sure PC Gamer is not cool with people scanning there magazine instead of buying it either.

It's supposed to stop the gauss explosion from reaching the center torso, which could happen if both arm and right torso structure are already damaged at that time.
I would kick the right CASE out in Mechlab, though.

BTW I bet they are going to make a Highlander Hero Mech. Rhonda Snord pilots one, I think.

Yeah, the chance of that happening really isn't worth .5 tons (even on a 90 ton mech!)
I am quite sure you are correct about the Hero mech. I wonder, will every chassis end up with a Hero mech? Or are some, jut not heroic?

I am sure there will be a hero version of the Highlander, but there will be several variants that are not hero mechs.

The other ones I can think of are the Orion and, notably, the Hunchback, Jenner, and Commando.

So maybe we'll get Clan variants for all of those, even pretty soon as they don't have to implement a new chassis model.
They would have to raise the speed cap for the Jenner IIC though. It runs at 151 kph canon-wise.
