no, sorry. it wouldn't run on a mac, anyway.

people should be more clever in selecting operating systems. always have windows, even if you want to run other os on another partition or drive.

I run Win 7 64 bit and have had zero issues. What problems are you referring to? If your looking to do any decent gaming, your going to need a PC to do it. I have my doubts MWO will be for anything but the PC.

Apple hardware and software is way too restrictive, It's not for gamers. Also this game being availible through steam would give it very good advertisement. Though i do not endorse it ONLY being availible through steam.

OP, before posting questions, you should check the FAQ. The very first topic covered is as follows:

Quote

Q. Will MechWarrior® Online™ be PC exclusive?

A. At this time we have no plans to take MechWarrior® Online™ to any other platforms.

Also, this belongs in the Tech/Hardware forum (where we've covered this topic). Just things to keep in mind for next time; enjoy the forums.

Not sure what the problem of supporting Steam is, but sorry to say this, if you wanted to play games on a computer, Mac was a bad choice. I've been running Windows 7 and only had 1 issue which I've resolved.

Pretty much that. I don't know why people still ask if CryEngine games will run on a Mac. Granted if the hardware is actually good enough (often isn't) they can indeed play games. Blame DirectX though since Mac's don't use it and not enough Mac users would play games anyway. I think to make it profitable for most developers it would have to be something like %500.

On the other hand you might be able to bootcamp and run it. Also not sure what these problems are but every Mac user I've talked to compares Snow Leopard etc to Windows XP...a decade old OS.

Yeah, trying to release a PC exclusive without steam these days is pretty much suicide.

No Mac version. Sorry.

And we have our own content system. No need for Steam et. al.
