Currently SRM's are worse than useless. They are to dangerous for teammates.

- Is the game finished, and we can hope for the joystick/gamepad and other outstanding issues to be addressed?
OR
- If the game is still a work in progress then why are the pre-order packages for Premium Content being activated?
Here's a little quote directly from the Beta forum regarding this issue:
"One note about joystick configuration.
Turning a Mech (not twisting), is currently a digital input. i.e. It's an on or off state. For proper implementation we need to change that to an analog input so the further you throw the stick off center, the faster your Mech turns.
Unfortunately at this time, this feature is low priority while we try to finish our last few feature sprints to get the game ready for Launch. You will see the fix in before Launch but it might be right down to the wire."
If there is a third option I'd really love to hear it myself since it's pretty obvious that keyboard/mouse input control been prioritized over resolving the issues involving joysticks and gamepad devices as well as the myriad of other issues being reported by other users. I mean, I'm willing to give a little consideration but the actions being taken so far show that, overall, many people consider this game being rushed out the door and we really could use some kind of idea as to where this instant wave of confidence is coming from when the proof we have is showing that should not really be the attitude to approach this?

Do you know how Reddit works? It's like calling the entire internet a hate zone because there is some KKK website out there. You wouldn't lump wikipedia in with a white supremist site would you? Anyone can create a subreddit about whatever he wants just like you can create a website about whatever you want. /r/IAMA has nothing to do with /r/mensrights. Furthermore, the idea of calling /r/mensrights a hate group because a few random members say things the splc doesn't like shows how ignorant they are of how reddit works. It is not some controlled environment where adminstrators of the website control what subreddits are created and who can say what. It's mostly a community driven free for all just like the internet at large.

lol Im a srm junky in my hunchy. They work fine. Its funny that you say they are dangerous to teamates. 5 mechs colliding into a mech just to get a kill is what causes that. Artemis will tighten up the spread. Also are you aware of the damange they do? It can be brutal. The spreads fine they used to hit the same location more or less at any range. This is better. Gausspults OP. Lol. The only thing they need to do for those is remove the ears and put BFG's in their place when anything bigger than an AC2 is loaded on them.

Artemis will fix that. But then again I dont have a problem wasting people with them. You learn there spread and how to work with them at various distances.

If you are a reddit noob like me, and were scratching your head for a moment as to how to find Paul's AMAA:
Either go to reddit's home page and click the AMAA link along the top of the page, or go here and wait for Paul's AMAA page/thread to get created.
Interestingly enough, the Upcoming AMAAs list on the right side of the page says the person is "Developers" as opposed to just Paul. I wonder who may join him...
