Dear, Devs! Make it just right. Deficiencies can be corrected patches. Noclickers will always buzzing. I just look forward to at least start jumpjet

In the curent state the only thing that bother me it's customization.
But I still believe that devs could make it quite near to canon

I voted no, those Piranha guys are just in it for the money.

I knew it! Now we have proof!

I don't know, in a way I was hoping for a bigger jump toward sim (from the past games) and closer to Battletech. So far it's hard to tell some things without playing them but so far I'm liking what I'm seeing. It's improvement for the series either way.

If urban combat looks as tightly packed as it did in that 2009 trailer this could be very interesting.

Im sure that openfield battles will be more tactically interesting than a narrow corridor shooting play

Definatly on the right track, but some major issues such as FF/TK/Greifers aren't something that can be overlooked in a Free to play game or any online game-space for that matter

I like were this game is going, and I cant wait to get seriously competitve about it (as i have for no other game ever they just didnt seem deep enough bar LOL and thats plauged by terrible balance problems and griefers)

So keep it up, but pay ALOT of attention to detail's!

I like the community-oriented feel of MW:O, but it does have one drawback inherent in its Online-Live-combat specialization...

What nags me is the lack of anyone's ability to strap into a 100-ton War Machine and shred through large numbers of enemy war machines like what many people have come to expect from prior Mechwarrior releases. I, personally, don't mind the lack of a single player campaign. On the other hand, I also feel sorrow for numerous people who will flood to MW:O and become disappointed when they find out that MW:O won't let them get into a Mech and rip through large numbers of enemies. They'll just get killed, themselves, trying to play Campaign-style.

The future of MW:O might have a solution for this, though. The Solaris tournaments could offer special fighting exhibitions that feature Assaults vs Lights and Battle Armor matches, and the like. Imagine small teams of Atlas pilots fighting off waves of Light pilots in . That'd be a riot - it'd give people the opportunity to slay many foes as an Assault, or you can get the satisfaction of downing assaults in your Light Mech or BA. I know balancing issues would need to be satisfied, but I think it'd be fun.

I really think you'll want to address the urges of many young and eager Mechwarrior gamers to slaughter small armies with their massive BattleMechs, especially since many MMO type games have the player experiencing K/D ratios greater than 1.

:) Corridors that block LOS and targeting and occasionally fall down (maybe)? Somehow that seems more TACTICALLY demanding.

Maybe a Grinder mode? Kinda like CoD zombies or something?

I agree with what you are saying though PP.

As far as the piloting aspect of the game.... so far so good. I mean what I have seen so far. As for F2P and other aspects, won`t know for awhile after release.

Knowing that the game is F2P, I am even more excited. This means that they will be able to add to it and build more on to the main product.

I vote yes... From what I've seen so far.

The only thing I'm concerned about is how they're going to do the F2P stuff... I can deal with mechs and weapons being locked and require a purchase, but I would hope the prices are right. A recent example of how not to do F2P pricing is Microsoft Flight, which only gives you two planes for free and makes you pay anywhere from $5-20 USD for another plane; in order to get the other 3 (yes, three) currently available paid planes, you have to pay $40. I would like it if I could just pay $50 for all of the launch content on MWO if I feel the selection of mechs and weapons is worth it. I also really can't stand the whole "You've played for an hour, if you want to play for another hour you have to pay a dollar" aspect of many F2P games, so I really hope free players will be able to play (with their somewhat menial selection of stuff) for as long as they want. They haven't talked much about how they're going to do the F2P stuff so I'll give them the beniefit of the doubt until launch.

Let's face it: we don't know exactly where the devs are going, & we won't know until they get there & we start playing. All we've seen so far is the view from the window on the journey, & I like what I've seen so far. :)

Still waiting for the beta to get my first true impression of the game and if it's headed in the right directiion. Will let everyone know after the first match.

Okay, okay. Might not happen until sometime after the 50th match. But will really, really try to post something after that.

Scouts honor.

Well we don know that much so far but what we know looks rather good. What sounds amazing to me is the developers design philosophy and I really hope they stick to it and keep that spirit.
