No, they are ridiculous. The factory for the flash was slagged. Not we couldn't produce more because component 'x' couldn't be made. As for the knight. In strategic warfare you target important and powerful mechs early so you deprive the other side of them later. The knight would get killed an killed and killed. Not to mention teams sent to steal them from the other guy or booby traps meant to prevent thefts... Getting with the times doesn't change the fact they are extinct outside of COMGAURD. Which in my mind makes them awesome for real money or really hard to get since they would have to come from COMGAURD or an SLDF cache. I would be fine making them the advanced SLDF tech versions and making them ultra rare. The game does need a way to make money and giving us things that make spending money worthless means they will shut their doors and we won't have a MW title to play. Do you need a knight of or a Flash, no you can modify an Orion to do most of the job. I want FD to redo the Knight looking at the original TRO 2750. The MW4 knight is terrible... My dad doesn't play games like this. "They waste peoples time and resources that should be put to use improving humanity."
If you had read the actual Sarna pages for each 'Mech instead of glossing over them, you'd actually be fully aware that both 'Mechs are
NOT extinct outside of the Com Guards.

New Avalon Institute of Science thanks to the exploits of
Fox's Teeth commander Ian McKinnon. When piloted by Ian during the
War of 3039, the 'Mech was clad in prototype Ferro-Fibrous armor and the standard heat sinks outside the engine were replaced with corrosive 3039 era double heat sinks. These weight savings, along with the removal of the head-mounted small laser, allowed the 'Mech to carry a hatchet whose damage was boosted by the addition of

Is this sinking in for you at all? The Flashman and Black Knight may have been rare outside of the Com Guards, but in no way where they "extinct" as you put it. The rest of your comment is based on mere opinion and supposition, not fact so I will not bother to address it.
