Have five or so objectives in the middle of the map and make each side fight for them as an alternative in some battles. The current base capture system lends itself to boredom a bit to often and it would be nice to have some alternatives.
One problem the game has is that the player limit for each game is to low to make it fluid the loss of one mech is such a large percentage of the force it creates too large an impact making the loosing side so handicapped it's hard to recover.
In an assault scenario for the middle there would produce a fluid cituation by itself instead of the stupid games we sometimes has now where each side defends their own base and never moves out.
