They don't throw us out of the Northwind Pub, we magically appear somewhere when we wake up. It doesn't count as being thrown out if you don't remember it.

Well Highlanders, I formerly was quite the Guinness drinker...or any beer, for that matter... but being recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes my drinking days are over. Thus, I have a troop transport waiting to get you gents back to your quarters when you get thrown out of the pub.

And ladies, thank you! You think we're going to let you boys have all the fun?

Aye, lads and lasses both. The good Colonel will see that ye make it to your barracks without the Sgt. Major being too hard on you.
Now, hoist one in my stead, since I cannot partake.

Just remember ...drink all you want, but there is always physical training in the morning...after the five mile run, and I expect that none of our fine Highlanders will opt for sick call. :D

Ah the good ole days when a 5th o scotch was my nightly companion, a gallon o coffee and bailley's (30/70) split for breakfast, and a double of Jamisons with couple o Killians Red for a night cap. Them days are gone, gone, gone along with aching head and worshiping at the altar of stink. Just gimmie a killians or Guinness an I'll be alright.

There are Northwind non Northwinders, the Point is the Name is Highlanders, the spirit is Scotland and Gaelic so someone like me, more Irish, Amerindian than Scottish, but Highlander in spirit is welcome. I have the ancestry to wear 5 different tartans from Scotland.

Its not a definition per se, more of a feeling. If the Pipes call you to battle, then you are a Highlander. If you are wanting the feeling of family and home then you are a Highlander.

You can go to our recruiting area or straight to our new forums to apply:

http://northwindhighlanders.enjin.com

all are welcome

Northwind was purchased by Clan Stuart during the Exodus and named for the Clan's old home in Scotland. The Stuarts were joined by the Highlanders, the last vestiges of Scotland's independent military.[2] To prove their worth, the Highlanders founded Kearny, a mining town.
In 2362 the Clan Elders that ruled Northwind elected to raise a standing army, the Northwind Highlanders.[4] The Highlanders became an elite mercenary unit. Because of this, many aspiring mercenaries traveled to Northwind to learn the trade and employers frequented the planet to hire the Highlanders, creating an informal hiring hall.

Northwind eventually saw many settlers from all different ancestries settle, but the dominant culture remains deeply tied to Scottish, Irish, Welsh, and English settlers.

Hey everybody!

Since my application is pending and I can't post on the northwind forums yet I was wondering if anyone has given thought to where the Clan Windbourne's talents will be sold first?
