@dal10, that's why I posted, to ask Chaos if an Aerospace Jocky was acceptable.

And is the use of that program required by Chaos? Or?

well, we got 1 assault mech, an assault tank, a heavy tank, a transport (I still haven't actually made it yet) and 3 BA infantry. note, it is dark age, so mechs are rare, and the planet we are on is an extremely hostile environment, so environmentally sealed vehicles is an necessity.

If you do not know how to make vehicles, you can use this link http://www.solarissk...s.com/downloads

Extract to an empty folder and find the executable Jar file labelled SAW, that is Solaris Armor Werks, you can make tanks, boats and copters there. but not BA or Aerospace. in order to access environmental sealing you must be using the advanced rule set. also, setting the era to dark age makes it easier, because you have access to pretty much all non-Wobby tech.

that help?

Don't forget to assign tonnage to your turret as well.

nah, I just use it because I only know a single canon tank that uses environmental sealing. You don't have to use it, but it makes it far easier to create your own designs. You can also make mechs with the same set of programs as well. I made a 19 srm-2 boat for the mad science mech thread.

your turret automatically adds tonnage to itself depending on how much you put on top of it. which can confuse you at times. I went from 1.5 tons left to 0 when I added a 1 ton item....

You must have a different version, mine never auto added anything. I just used the 3026 book for a guideline and took the 3.2 to a 3 for my turret

Our BA squad should all run different suits, just for the lulz.

can we avoid quad suits though? I never liked them, I keep thinking you would have to reverse joint your knees to use them.

Decided if its going to be set in the Dark Age, I'd want to make use of some of the crazier fluff. So, I'm a Cyborg!

Name: Rand Andrews
Age: 31
Blood Type: Ab-
Height: 180cm
Weight: 83 kg
Mech/Battle Armor: Purifier Adaptive, slate grey in color with a single white hand print on the face plate.
Combat role: Recon, Anti-Infantry.
Non-combat roles: Great understanding of cybernetic implants. Knowledge of electronic systems. Basic Medical Knowledge.

Bio:

Born on Atreus, the former capital world of the Free World’s League to upper middle class parents Rand Andrews Diagnosed with an aggressive degenerative disease that attacked both his spinal cord and central nervous system while still in highschool and was completely bed ridden by the time he was twenty-two. Eventually slipping into a coma that his doctors said would claim his life Rand’s life was spared by a very unlikely source a former Word of Blake scientist who had been instrumental in the creation of the dread Manei Dromini a cadre of cyborg warriors who committed several atrocities during the Ji-Had.

Upon waking from his coma Rand learned of the incredibly complex surgeries and cybernetics that had been used to replace his spine. Fascinated by the technology that saved his life, but scorned by his friends and peers who were raised to fear and loath cyberneticly modified humans (a unique cultural taboo native to worlds of the former Free Worlds league). Rand left Atreus with his savior, in order to learn more about the advanced cybernetic technologies that Word of Blake had developed.

Nine years later, the 31 year old Rand is as much machine as he is man. Having developed the “god complex” so common to those with high levels of cybernetics, Rands fascination with Word of Blake technology borders on obsession, actively hunting down any sites that might possibly be connected to Word of Blake cybernetic research and development. During his travels he acquired a suit of Purifier Adaptive armor, uniquely modified to interface with his implants. (Similar to how a protomech works).

he never asked for this...

My lariot has 4 men, does that count? also, you may want to tone down on the number of flamers. Nitrogen-Hydrogen Atmosphere.

Just a heads up on how that works. You lay down in the Sloth, and sit in the others.

I always liked them personally. The Sloth especially. My favorite Toy as a kid.

Just cause the environment is hostile to the tank doesn't mean that the tank is built specifically for that planet. If Chaos says I can switch it around, I'll switch them to either small lasers or MG's depending on what can replace them at a one for one.

well if you need to change it too much you are free to use my Hong Shouge Ji. other than not having massive numbers of flamers, It fulfills much the same role as your tank does.
