Greetings, salutations and a hearty hello to all! We are Gavin “Lorehunter” MacRoary and Steve "Long Draw" Deathbringer, two Rangers of Skye. The Rangers are in search of artists, authors and others with the creative spirit to come and entertain our very appreciative troops. If you also wish to fight the good fight along with the rest of us there is almost always a group or two of us fulfilling a contract of one kind or another. Although our core tends to be of a more serious bend when in the cockpit we have lots of Rangers who are far more casual in their outlook and the company makes ample accommodations for them. Come on by and get to know us, have some fun and showcase your works.

We invite you to peruse our library, stop by the tavern for a pint O' Skye Ale, or you can even volunteer your time at the local News Office as a reporter!

*edit* Sorry about the broken link. Lack of sleep will do that!

Just a heads up Steve Deathbringer (If that is your real name). That link seems to be broken on my end. Tried it in Google and Firefox.

Looked at the thingy at the .net couldn't find any examples of writing or artestically created stuff. Then again I didn't comb back to many pages either.

The M.F.B. is a sub-forum. supposedly all of the artsy stuff goes there. however a lot of it was in the Unit sub-forums. which are member only.

if you look back for the story starfall, I wrote that. Only the first section is posted however. I never got a chance to post the rest before I left, and I refuse to post it now.

Yeah, I only went through the Skye Rangers General Discussion forum for story threads to be moved to the Mobile Field Base forum so far. As I go through the other forum sections, I send the links to our leader to move the threads to the appropriate section.

not a dedicated one, unless it got added recently. I attempted an RP there once. died within a few days because all but like 2 people just stopped responding.

Rogue, to answer your question as best as possible, yes, we do have an RP section. But, as dal10 stated, it has largely been inactive. I am hoping to bring new life into it and maybe give it a purpose beyond largely unrelated story telling.

I'd suggest them you start in reverse fashion. You should post a link on your site pointed here so your members can read and get a taste of what goes on in a RP forum and the various styles and ways it unfolds. Then, if you grab enough interest among your members, you can go full bore there on your site or duel link the two to each other so the posting appears in both. Good Luck :D
