Why I'm a Lone Wolf

1. It's FREEEEEEEE to PLAY! There is no subscription! You have little to lose by playing Lone Wolf because you don't get loyalty points that deteriorate over time. So when life comes up you have no problem taking a break and coming back.
2. You don't take orders well in video games. I suspect there are others who are going Lone Wolf for the same reason. I'm trying to relax some before I get back to the family/house/work/school/lawn stuff that I have to do. If you get in the chat and call me out for brining something you don't think is viable, or shout over T.S. that it's my fault, prepare to be ignored.
3. It's not going to be like it used to be. There won't be rooms you get kicked out of because ,"Oh, uh, Narco you have to go because my team member is wanting to join; thanks for waiting half-an-hour for a match though" *NARCoMAN has been kicked from room 12* isn't going to happen. At least it had better not. The impression I get is that a lone wolf just clicks something like "find battle" and waits a few minutes. If we're going to see the traditional "you aren't in my league go away" kind of nonsense I probably wont play.
4. No player run factions. The only time I ran in to this stuff was in MPBT:3025 BETA, but it was really, REALLY bad. There is nothing worse than relying on others (In a video game) for promotions or getting griped at because there is some "politics that you should leave to the professionals" reason that you can't do something. Nobody, no matter how long they've been the imaginary leader of imaginary house/clan/unit ______ can presume to tell you what to do.
That's enough out of me for today I think.

Lone wolf doesn't mean, "charge in to the fight without thinking", it means unaffiliated. How long have you been playing the game that you consider lone wolves to be free kills?
It's not like a lone wolf is going to be someone who ignores all the tactical data from the Battlegrid.

The cooperating team is the winning team.

- You can never lose what you've gained through gaining Loyalty Points (unless you leave the faction). Lone Wolves don't get loyalty points, so nothing changes. You weren't getting Loyalty Points in the first place, so why care if you end up losing them by changing faction? What you DO get in the mean time is access to new skins, new units, etc etc. If you go away and lose some LP due to it, oh well, doesn't matter, cause you can always regain them and keep going from where you left off. Again, you don't lose what you gained.
- Factions aren't player run, no one can give you orders, you can do whatever you'd like and play at whatever times and however you prefer. It's free to join, there are no restrictions on joining factions, you don't have to go through an application process. Don't like your faction? You can leave a faction and join a new one if you want, this has been confirmed.
- Um... okay, so what does this have to do with being in or not being in a faction? Faction players will likely have the exact same "just play button", the difference being they'll be fighting with other members of their faction, with lone wolf fill ins.

If you dont' follow the orders of the Unit that is playing, then you are useless and SHOULD be kicked. IMO. If I was the member of House, attempting to win our objetive, and a LW joined, I would be panicking. Would he give away our position? Will he get a soda in the middle of battle? What did he bring? I don't know, he's a rebel, an enigma, a wild card. And when doing battle plans, wild cards ain't fun.
For all the casual reasons you mentioned, a LW of the caliber you described simply isn't as involved, isn't as committed, and doesn't have as much effort and emotion invested.
Maybe Lonewolfs will just join LoneWolf matches? I'm sure there will be more than 24 LoneWolfs at any given time, so that "join game" will probably be 12 v 12 of LW on LW action.

The Bounty Hunter is seeing a disturbing pattern he does not like.........
It seems the only real Mercenaries in the game will be the Lonewolfs.

Well true, most Mercs are really just armies with money as their Lord, it directs them.
A more likely scenario is that after a month a "LoneWolf Collective" will occur, and the LoneWolfs that enjoy the other's company will accidently form a mercernary group when they weren't looking for one, and play with them.
