I'd have to agree with Maxx on the Thug, PPC's are so much more fun to use.

There are a LOT of fansboys of the PPC. I mean, I like it and everything, but they're almost as numerous as the Urbie lovers!


I hope that when MWO reveals the PPC graphics and delivery it comes in a video with a huge slow motion, cracklin' spurt from a weapon complete with either bow chick a wow wow, or Carmina Burana music.

The Victor is nice, it really is. But it just doesn't do anything for me. Yeah, I look at the stats and see a jumping AC20, and I ponder the evil it can do. But it is just such a mugger. I'd rather see the Grasshopper in that role.

I wanted to vote Zeus, I really did. But without knowing if we're talking about the 6S or 6T? Can't do it. The 6T is nice, the 6S is like its backwards cousin from the stix that's been hitting the moonshine too hard.

Now, the Thug... How can you not like the Thug? Heavy armor? Check. Weapons cover a good mix of range? Check. Hole punching and crit seeking? Double check. Aggressive name? Check. Beautiful in a way only something ugly and dangerous can be? Check and mate.

The PPC love is out of control in the community. I'm hoping PGI develops the weapons so that while it may be a good weapon the PPC does not stand head and shoulders above other weapons. The inclusion of minimum range or at least reduced power in close combat should go a long way to making that happen.
