God I'm so damn sick of those two mechs I often dream of waking up and having them not existing in canon and realizing it was all a bad dream.

I've always been a fan of the Clan Canis 'mech but seeing as how in this game's time frame it hasn't been designed yet, I'll settle for the Zeus.

I too like this variant. Who wants autocannons when they run out of ammo so fast? The Zeus's AC5 only carried 20 ammo. I plan to live longer than that, and having ammo stored in my chest is not the way to live! We ARE able to dump out ammo we don't want, right?

While the Victor or Zeus would be more canon appropriate, I would never pass up the opportunity to ride in my favorite 'mech since I discovered it.

Surprised the Awesome didn't make the list. Maybe it's just my old school nature, but I consider it far more iconic than the Thug. (Edit: Missed the disclaimer in the original post. Reading fail. Sorry.)

Irrelevant either way, though, because it's all about the Victor I do like the Zeus, but I've always loved mobile heavies - Eridani variant Thunderbolt always topped by list, but in the stock 3025 the Grasshopper and Victor ruled.

My vote goes to the Thug. At least looks like it'S shaping up to his name. While the Zeus makes one wonder why all these greek women for for that one. And the Victor is simply too big to fit the image of the Steiner-Davion midget named... Victor.

Garth, I will always vote for a Zeus over an Awesome! Or a Thug over an Awesome... though I had to choose the Zeus over that, too. I love the thug, but the Zeus is probably my favorite assault 'mech of all time... well, except maybe the Warhammer IIC... That would be a really tough choice!
