Zeus, simply because the assault class needs some ranged firepower.

Thug! Of al the polls of which mech do you like, this one is the hardest for me to decide. I like all three, even if the Zues is a Lyran ride.

i agree.
as much as i love both mechs, i loved the thug the most in MW2 Mercenaries.
(if we dont have a Warhammer, i'd take the THUG instead. if we have a Warhammer, the Zeus is a nice addition)

It was a tough choice since I like all three for different reasons, but I went Thug. I find the talk of not getting the Warhammer depressing....

The Thug is a good mech, however I think mechs like it should wait for an SLDF pack or something in the future. It's not a common mech. I'd rather see mechs that make sense in the era.

Our Ghost Regiments are full of those old Star League designs, with the Com Guard serial numbers carefully filed off. And according to the Battletech Technical Readout 3039, the downgraded low-tech Thug never went totally extinct.

The Hatamoto-chi is built upon the Charger chassis in an attempt to replicate the capabilities of the Thug.

Yeah I know it didn't go EXTINCT, but it is rare, and I want a Hatamoto-Chi something fierce. I do think it or the Charger should have been on the poll. The Charger is a POS until it gets upgraded with an XL engine, but it can do some damage then...

This is the (unfinished) Hatamoto I did for MekPack four for MekTek. It would have come with an option for the sword. Granted I know it makes me a hypocrite including a melee weapon after all my ******** about axes/hatchets, however in this case the Hatamoto with the sword would have had better electronic loadouts, while without would have had better weapons hardpoints (ie the Sword would have designated an officer) It was gonna have a C3.which was going in MP4, but Jeho's house burned down and pretty much killed all that.

In any case, I'd love to have a Hatamoto...eventually at least. If it comes as a premier mech for the Combine and i gotte pay, well then I'll pay.

Never heard THAT. All I understood was that it was an attempt to make the Charger useful with 3025 era technology. (Which it did).

There are so many variants for the Hatamoto that I'm surprised they didn't make it an Omni.

/Agreed.
I've proven I'll pay $35 for a tank I like (KV-5) to support the F2P model so deffinetly there are some Mechs out there that are more "off the wall" (Like my Beloved Stalker) that I'm going to pay real money to have. This is one of them. B)

Why is the Hatamoto Chi not in this poll? It was available at this time, and far more common in fact than the Thug, which it resembles in terms of capabilities.

This is anti-Draconian propaganda!

While I'm all for it and love the Hatamoto Chi, I still love the Thug way more.
In both stats and appearance.
We Dracs get some Thug action, too... How do you think the DCMS were able to whip up that modification of the Charger chassis so quickly?

Tough choice between the Victor and the Zeus. I don't dislike the Thug, but the others are more versatile.

I went with the Victor, because it's already the victor in this poll.

Why isn't the Warhammer?
One of the most used designs at this time throughout the IS. Powerfull, capable and all that.

I always wondered. Even been one of the two protagonists in the awesome 2009 Mechwarrior trailer.
Yet we got the Dragon and the Hunchback.... :)
