While I grew up liking the Jade Falcons - a childhood facination with "What if I could play the bad-guys", I think that I would like to play the Steel Vipers if I had to pick a clan. Beyond nice toys, I've always found them one of the more interesting Clans, in spite of getting so little limelight.

Of course, I have my doubts they'll appear in the game. As such, I think my second choice would be the Falcons or Jaguars.

Not necessarily. Would not be the first time, that a Bloodnamed warrior was captured and became abtakha in a Trial of Possession. Star Colonel Logan Moon, once a Smoke Jaguar comes to mind. So does Khan Nadia Winson of the Ghost Bears.

Whereas Jennifer Winson was the wife of the Great Founder, and Khan/Ilkhan Jerome Winson was also a member of Clan Wolf.

Wolf, if required. They made nice allies for the Commonwealth/Alliance down the road (at least... one of their factions... or something). Plus, I'm a big fan of wolves as animals, so... yeah.

Plus, the Wolf/Commonwealth alliance in MW:DA is probably the most interesting thing I read in Dark Age so far. Still doesn't hold a candle to the Classic BattleTech novel series, though.

This is called the KE - Keresnky and it is only used by the Merchant Caste to facilitate interclan trade where actual trading of goods will not work

Also there is the rest of the castes pay, work credits. You are given 3 months to use them, otherwise they get returned to the clan... if you have not used them you do not need them. There is no retirement in the Clans

This was because we have asteroid mines, and a lot of resources. We got to choose what we wanted, not scrape together what we could find.

Should this choice actually arise (fingers crossed) It would be a tuff choice between Wolf and Bear, but prolly Bear, Both of Wolf's totem mechs are spread so far Its reasonable to get one, and especially if later on they through a headnod to the "Mad Dog mk II" the Bears home grown design.
