Just being by yourself doesn't mean you work poorly with others any more than being in a faction means you work well with others...I know I didn't have to take a teamwork test to change my avatar.
agreed, well said. Not every player has the real-life time to invest in becoming a member of a "group". If you are respectful, helpful, and work to attain the "team's" goals, in a consistant manner, you should be able to make a good name for yourself. Word would get around that you are a good and viable "fill-in". I wouldn't at all mind meeting a few lone wolves like this, because you never know when you may need them. However, if you come in all cocky and L33T, yea, I can see it happening. Alot depends on the attitude you portray to others. But unfortunately, you will inevitably run across teams, that just have plain crappy attitudes themselves, therefore know nothing other than to exhibit as such in-game.

Yes, you will be discriminated against, in every possible way. By everyone. For no reason. Because that's the kind of people we are, all of us.
So kind of you to speak for
ALL of us. Did I miss the poll that asked ALL of us? Personally I'm here to have fun and enjoy the game, not waste my time discriminating against players for whatever reason. There's enough of that going on in real-life! This BT Universe is to be an escape from real-life.
The OP of this thread is of school age, and his priorities may not BE this game. But because he want's a chance to learn and enjoy the game in the spare time he may have, several posters feel he should be discriminated against? Yea, I have a problem with that. Sad that peeps make judgements like this before they even have the chance to play with/against him.
.......just my 2
¢ Prophet, I wish you well, don't let others discourage you from having fun.
