How do you think is the best Fed Sun's regiment I think it is the Avalon gaurd due to the fact that they have alot of firepower.

Depends on the purpose, but the answer is one of the Davion Guards Regiments. The specific regiment would be decided by the goal you are trying to achieve.

1st Davion Guards is the House Davion bodyguard unit. The Light, Heavy and Assault Guards are pretty iconic (and what weight mech do they pilot...). The 1st Federated Suns Armored Cavalry is kind of analogous to the special forces or army rangers and have been one of the more active units since the 4th War.

The Assault Guards seem to have largely been skipped over timeline wise until the FC Civil War.
The Heavy Guards fought in the 4th War, 3039, the Jade Falcon incursion, Operation Bulldog, FC CW, WoBJ...
The Light Guards fought in the 4th War, FC CW, WoBJ
1st Guards fought in the 4th War, 3039, Operation Bulldog, FC CW, WoBJ
1st FSAC fought in 3039, Operation Bulldog, FC CW, WoBJ
The 1st FSAC is based on the Capellan border and spends its "peace time" fighting border skirmishes and generally being a rapid reaction force on the Capellan border

My first choice is the 1st Kathil Uhlans, because they're commanded personally by Morgan Hasek-Davion the head of the FedCom armed forces.

A close second would be the regiment that appears to have disappeared from battletech canon Team Banzai, the enigmatic and mysterious mercenary company that was probably the play testers mercenary group and filled with wacky geniuses and elite mechwarriors.

Compared to that the Davion Guard regiments are so prosaic.

Team Banzai and the Fighting Uruk Hai are mercs... They also got wiped out somewhere along the line, can't remember at the moment where/when.

The biggest question I have is what timeframe you are talking about. The FSAC was formed in 3013, way after almost any other Davion regiment.

1st Ceti Hussars, a unit formed by former SLDF troops, and held the line against the Clans during the Jade Falcon invasion, again against the Snakes during the Fedcom Civil War, and not to mention their unit history includes the death of a Chancellor from Liao (apologies to Liao fans) "Plus a big fan of Leap Frog Assaults"

4th Davion Guards were probably the best of the best. They chewed up and spit out several Loyalist RCTs before being overwhelmed during the Civil War. 8th Crucis Lancers were pretty tough hombres too. Took four Snake regiments to overcome them on Prosperina.
