Edit: Why does that thing have LRM20s? I though the Timber Wolf was supposed to have LRM15s (4x4 arrays with one hole blocked out)
This was because the very earliest versions of the Timber Wolf did use LRM15s and thats what the art stuck with. The Tech Readouts and most games had the prime version fitted with LRM20s but folks still tend to draw them with 15 holes/missiles. Same thing happens for the Mad Dog prime as well. The latest 3050 TRO Upgrade pictures show the right number of missiles.

Mechs dont actually have any combustion engines, so air intakes are not usefull at all (just the opposites if you look at the Death star from Star Wars for a bad example of Exhaust port designs ). Many battles are even on airless moons or asteroids which means no air to take in anyways. The Engine and weapons are cooled using liquid cooling systems with heat sinks to physically vent the heat into the surroundings.
That haveing been said... wow... thats a very nice design / sketch.
Air Intakes, induction fans, and exhaust vents are important pieces of any cooling system. It's not the air itself blowing over glowing-hot components which cools them off, but rather the air itself taking the radiated heat from the glowing-hot components and the two objects(component, air) reaching an equilibrium of heat energy, since energy can not be destroyed, merely transformed from one type to another.
The laser-based heat sinks used in extremely low-temperature applications accomplish this by converting waste heat(in this case for these applications, anything over 0 degrees Kelvin) in to visible light, which itself is energy.
As for operations on airless void areas, I'd suspect that some amount of weight and space is taken up by alternative heat management methods (extra coolant reserves with a sweater membrane, perhaps?) or other such.

Looks well done, the cockpit area resembles a cat enough to easily throw off the IS targeting computers, and I do agree with those who said that the toes are too small

Redesigned with new head and torso. Also with longer toes and separate ankle.

looks nice but its too sleek to be MWO. Most of the MWO mechs have lots of 90 and 45 degree angles. unless you're going for a completely different style for the Clan mechs compared to the inner sphere mechs it doesn't fit imo.
I really like the cockpit windows though.

to be honest, I would like it if the Clan mechs end up looking more sleeker than their IS counterparts. I mean, the Clans are supposed to be more technologically advanced and what not, and it would be very cool to make them and their mechs seem almost... "alien."

looks pretty good overall! i do have to say that the feet look a bit small/out of proportion.

I love that the Clan stuff you're doing so far looks so much more sleek than the boxy, simplistic IS designs. Keeps the spirit alive, since even in TT, the Clan minis looked more advanced.

For some reason, my second drawing makes my first drawing look like something that IS would make in an attempt to emulate the Timberwolf. A Raksasha to be exact...
