Aidan Pryde's Timberwolf/Mad Cat. The basic variant is awesome already, but this one got jump jets. Can't go wrong with that =)

amazing how everyone (except me and my lowly SRM carrier lance) wants to drive the mechs driven by the LOSERS of the battle of Tukkayid. Way too much awe for clan mechs here.

Timber Wolf. Custom, but very close to prime in configuration, having swapped the mg's for small lasers and the lrm 20's for artemis 15's and 3 tons ammo.

Oh and Bianca, as I am a warden Ghost Bear at heart and we had a marginal victory I wouldn't say we lost. :rolleyes:

I've never actually played it in a game, but I'd love to try the Clanbuster variant of the King Crab. What's with all the clanners? I'm playing for the home team! :rolleyes:

Though if I had to choose a clan mech, I've always had a soft spot for the primary configuration of the Warhawk/Masakari. Though either way, Tukayyid really would make an awesome scenario/community event.

Exterminator EXT-4Db (if the Comguards even had any of that variant) or Highlander HGN-732b (ditto)

This is the section of the forum labeled Clans, and tends to be where all us clanners hang out :rolleyes:

Not sure where your info comes from, but Clan Wolf most definately won in more then on way.

Clan Wolf won, Jade falcon got a tie, charitably, Ghost bear won a Pyrric victory. Everyone else failed miserably. Overall, the clans *lost* the battle, because the clans were utter babes when it came to real warfare - Nasty ambushes, artillery, coordinated and combined arms fire, and logtistics beat clan 'Honor'

@Bianca
You're reading too much into it. It's not the Mechs that lost the Battle of Tukayyid, it was the gloabal strategy or a lack thereof.
If you bother to check up on at least one of the Clan Mechs (i.e. Masakari or Mad Cat), you'll not find them wanting. In fact, they represent some of the best hardware in this universe. Who wouldn't want to 'try' them at least? If you don't fancy them, that`s perfectly acceptable, just leave those cookies to us and we don't have a problem :(

And can anyone seriously suggest that the Fafnir was not a rip off of the Stone Rhino? just has bigger Gauss Rifles.

That is easy to disprove... If it were a rip off, it would look more like a Rhino. Plus what other fram would the Steiner's use to handle tqo Heavy Gauss besides a 100 ton chassis? :(
