Ultimate Pay Problems -Advice & Information-

I'm starting this thread so that there's a centralized place to put the things I've found out having to deal with this nightmare.
I understand there are other threads about this but it seems it would be helpful to assemble this information in an OP for those that need it fast.
  • Ultimatepay will not offer refunds after a payment finishes processing and their support tickets take 24hours or more to process. For double charges call 1-650-432-3200 and ask to be transferred to Playspan and file a claim with your bank immediately.

  • Ultimatepay is declining payments from those who are over seas. You may get lucky but there's not a lot you can do about it, Ultimatepay refuses to offer support or answers.

  • Ultimatepay was having issues with their billing infrastructure earlier; if your payment window refreshes, 502s or returns any errors in general touch nothing and check your bank. As stated above Ultimatepay will not refund your money. Don't end up in a similar situation to those who were double charged.

P.S. As this in the aim of this post is so provide comprehensive information for people who are having these problems. Hopefully linking these other threads is seen as what it is, citations and refference material, and thus ok.

That is good to know .. thanks. . I didnt even bother to look and see if I was double billed.

well it seems that there are many people having problems but it's not everyone. it seems best to be careful but not worry without need. I'm still looking for the things staff have said about the issues.

Edit: actually it would be nice if there was official word here or an official thread like this. one of the things voiced in many of the threads about these issues is that help from support@mwomercs.com is coming very slow so something to keep people from worrying too much would be nice.

Use Paypal. My payment went through immediately and was credited to my MWO account immediately......So excited to play....cant stop my leg from bouncing B)

Used paypal and checked the payment status....it has been 24 hours with no update to my account. I checked and the payment was received but i have not received any response from customer support. Getting VERY irritated with MWO already and i havent even seen the inside of my Mech yet. 24 hours .....come on guys.

they should just use Paypal much easier and a lot safer this pay site was just hacked so all our info is in trouble. i wasn't double billed but they tried to and because i used Paypal to do it they didn't allow the double billing. Thankyou Paypal
