Bishop's beautiful VTR-9B Victor has inspired one of my clanmates to make a repaint of it.

Ohhhh Victor... I guess we won't see an official art for him in years (the Highlander buried it).

Very good job, BTW.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh.

PRETTY.

*gazes in admiration*

That...... damn. I gotta learn how to do that.

Can I ask a favor? Can you get me a link to the primary/ high def version? Seriously, I am totally geeked people are doing up my stuff. But I would LOVE to have copies of it, kind of a collection. That is awesome. Your clan mate is welcome to paint my stuff ANYTIME.

OH..... and if it would be possible... what would be even more awesome? Could your clan make do a mod on that? Add dark blue highlihgts and gold trim, a Steiner Fist instead of the sunburst, and THIS (my company patch):

The Victor is probably my most desired ride to make the game (Love Highlanders and Cataphracts, but would rather have my Vic) and in fluff, it's what I drive. (I treat it like a jump capable Super-Centurion, a real SpecOps hunter/killer mech).
Please, please, please?

A Genre has been created. And it is called Bishop Steiner.

ehhhh.. that is a truly scary thought HY. Been a while since we crossed paths. Hope all is well. Loved your finished Warhammer, btw. Any other projects of late?

@Bishop Steiner: i will do my best to color the victor with the Steiner specs and your company patch.
Do you have a pic from the company patch with a transparent background? That saves me a little bit of time.

AWESOME!

Sorry I didn't get back to you about the unit crest, I was in de bed. I live in the US eastern time zone, and was doing a last set of posts before crashing. It looks great!

How does one do the transparent backgrounds and layers anyhow? I'd love nothing more than to store my ""finished" mechs on transparents, so that people could mod them more easily (including myself when I learn how to do computer stuff). Plus I want to figure out how to layer it onto a background so I can use it as a desktop.

Thanks for knocking that out, and keep up the great work!

No problem. ^^
Can you send me via pn your e-mail addy?
I will send you the the original image with a transparent background, the pic has normaly a transparent background but when i postet it here the white background appears.

When you give me your actual screen resolution, i can prepare a second pic, with the coast battle as background , so you can use it for your desktop.

Awesome bro! Info sent!

As I said, keep up the quality, and you can mod my stuff anytime! I keep a constantly updating post of my designs here:
http://mwomercs.com/...esigns-to-date/
where I put it all together for simplicities sake, at least when they are at least 90% "finished".

Cheers!

The lighting around the mech's right (visual left) torso needs work but the overall effect is very pretty.

I like it :)

Sorry, had to tinker with the other pic some more. Again Aidan, so many thanks, also for giving me some impetus to learn how to use a few more GIMP features. I messed with the color tools to get things a little darker in all, as Steele's Legion of Thunder is more of a thunder gray base, and I wanted a deeper blue, and wanted to add some blue to the should actuator. When I get the text tool to stop acting like a lil pain in the rear, I will muck with it some more.

Still got a long way to go though to learn how to use shaders and other tools.

Beautifull work and so much better looking than the highlander

If its going to be burried for years so is my wallet as the Victor will be my next cash purchase unless PGI can actually develope something intresting for the cockpit, been a fail so far with prices and items
