Hehe, all that rant about hardpoints and how inferior they are and Cents are. There are no Hero Mechs, there are Hero Mechwarriors and Hero's Mechs.

Not buying this one - I was always shy to pretend to be someone special. And considering the battlefield value - yes, if it's just Centurion with altered hardpoints, then it's not interesting enough, and if it was somehow tweaked (say, has more damage output from AC/20 than regular mechs or more armor value per ton) - then it's unfun and not fair. For my precious MCs I'd better buy some LosTech ComStar stuff, for example.

That's how it really is in MWO until you apply usermade mods allowing you to remove grain filter and turn off some CryEngine 3 cvars.

I love me some centurions, and I'd love to see one able to mount 2 AC/2s and something besides missiles. I'm very interested in what a hero version of my favorite mech so far would look like hardpoint-wise. It would be nice to have a centurion model that doesn't rely on missiles in some way or another.

I think the idea of "hero" mechs is actually kind of neat. I'll be getting this one just to see what it does and how it works.

How do you feel knowing that only 1/3 the money that you spent on the Founder's Pack goes to the production of MWO?

since when do you think that IGP only produces with PGI yes they have other games and no they donot take advantage of founders

the game is still getting produced and developed you must be out off your mind to think it is doomed and anyway your posts are not constructive to the origional topic therefore trolling to get us back into topic

those who think Hero Mech is MC only are just speculating as last i heard all mechs other than founders was going to be obtainable with cbills

and though im not a fan of centurion or YLW it will be fun to crush them to dust

To be honest, I was thinking like Morgan Kell or Jaime Wolf when they said hero, as those two were the biggest bad ***** of their time (not to mention well into the clan invasion) but they used Archers. Kai Allard-Liao wasn't known at this time, and Justin Allard (or Justin Xiang as he was known on Solaris VII) was a spy, above average to be sure, but hardly the untouchable warrior.

This is my response as well. The rest of you call that left arm dead weight, I call it an aditional layer of torso armor.

Still, If this Yen Lo Wang, I'm hoping this is the Guass and MPLAS version (even if that is canoncly a year or so off, and some of the tech, like TSM, is still missing/unemplemented) rather than the older AC/20 ML version, which I would have to agree that without melee, doesn't offer much more than being a okayish Hunchback 4G that can take a XL engine into while keeping the AC/20.
