1st reply here, but just had to put my 2 cents in.

Metal's Warcry

Trees - Rush
Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit
Conflict - Disturbed
Enemy - Static X
F'ing Hostile - Pantara
The Thing I Hate - Stabbing Westward
Dead Bodies Everywhere - Korn
War Ensamble - Slayer
War Pigs - Black Sabbath
Disposable Youth - Metallica
Holy Wars - Megadeth
The Trooper - Iron Maiden
War Within a Breath - Rage Against the Machine
Jet Pilot - System of a Down
Knights of Cydonia - Muse
That's just off the top of my list without doubling up on any band(which some of these bands seem to make a new war song every release). If these don't get you ready to slag some walkers, you're already dead!! :)

These days, I find that the Empire of the Rising Sun soundtrack from Red Alert 3 sets me into a fitting mood for proper samurai combat. :)

Stabbing Westward... Something about driving an 70 platform of walking death to grinding industrial rock just gives me a warm and fuzzy. Now if i can only find my Mech2 Mercs OST, I'd be happy

While playing Assult (fits perfectly to Atlas):
Disturbed- Meaning of Life (Get Psycho)

While playing my dakka dakka support light/meds? You would never have guessed....I listen to Piano Jazz :D
While playing Dragon? No music, I listen to this mech's sound, it's funny:P

Lots of dirty, dirty dubstep, electronica, the aforementioned Ride of the Valkyries, various heavy metal tunes(mostly power metal of some).

Oh. . . . . . and you can't walk around in a 100 ton assault platform without a bit of Disturbed's 'Indestructible'.

while i do keep it down enough to hear others on ts, i almost always have something like the following:

Swedish House Mafia, deadmou5, Solarstone, The Chemical Brothers, Tiesto, Above & Beyond, The Crystal Method, Daft Punk,

and occasionally oldies like

Alan Parsons, Billy Idol, Doors, Huey Lewis & the News, J. Geils Band, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Lúnasa, Pat Benatar, Prince, Queen, The Rolling Stones, The Stray Cats, and (of course) the ultimate 'pult chase The Ventures' "Peter Gunn"...

(note: this is a small sample... if i set my .mp3 player to the "faster" playlist, i have days before i hear the same thing again...)

I'd sadistically listen to this whilst lighting up my enemies with lasers and missiles...

Surprised I forgot this one when I first started this up. It's got a heavy, steady beat that I think matches a pitched duel between two armored titans, and plenty of bits that just scream out for a well-timed blast of weapons fire.

I put together a electronica/tech house mix for background music, you can play (or d/load) it here.

I might put together an Industrial version next..
