That's a REALLY cool mech. Looks nothing like the MK3 though. Or the MK4 for that matter.

I love the concept art, but its doenst jump out as a Mad Cat. To me i looks like a missile dependent Davion Sagittaire. Wich isnt a bad thing I love the Sagittaire's 95 tons of jumping TC and Pulse Lasers.

Not the traditional MadCat I am used to seeing but very good artwork for sure. I love me a good MadCat though, it is one of my favourite mechs.

Out of those, the first is a more interesting look. I prefer the angular cockpit from the OP though. I must agree that while a very neat design, it doesn't scream "MadCat". In the second set, I actually think it has more of a look and feel of a Daishi/TimberWolf. Maybe relabel it TimberWolf Mk II and keep it rolling?

Well the madcat mk3 is a battlemech made by clan diamond shark for sale to the inner sphere post post the big war to come :-) essentially trading on the inner sphere name for the clan timberwolf. They also made a madcat mk2 (90 tonner) and eventually a madcat mk4 (75 tonner)
