Founders program benefits?

Looking around here on the forum and the MWo, I can't seem to find any info on what exactly you get if you buy into the Founder's Program beyond the very obvious benefits

What do you get with a premium account?

If I buy a Veteran package I'll get 40$ in-game currency - right - and how much is that?

If I go to http://mwomercs.com/buy then you can buy for 30 or 50$ - but not 40, so much do I get for 40???

The same applies to the 80$ in-game currency sum I'd get via the Elite or Legendary founder packages. There is no 80$ cash-buy option at http://mwomercs.com/buy, so I have no clue how much or how little I'll be getting if I buy these packages

So...

A little clarity would be wonderful? Perhaps replace the "40$ value in-game currency" line with the actual amount of 'Mechwarrior Credits' you'll get, like "10.000 Mechwarrior Credits" or something similar?

Just a suggestion

Yeah, founders is over. If you buy MC you can get a premium account for Cbill and XP bonus plus you can buy mechs with MC

What do you mean? You can no longer sign up for the founder's program, but if you already bought one of the options (like you) you get to keep them.
It'd be a a big waste of money otherwise.

Hello,

I was recently invited to participate in the closed beta and i have to say i am liking what i've seen and played so far! I can't wait to see the game in DX11!! Now here is my problem,i tried to purchase a $60 founders membership and when i clicked on the buy tab it brought me to a screen that only allows me to purchase mech credits. I don't see an option anywhere to buy into any memberships? Is this not possible now?? Is their something i am doing wrong? Please help as i would like to get access to the founders mech!

UPDATED:
Ok so i guess the offer is not around now,so WHY leave the offer on the page for people to see???? IT just seems unfair to have a carrot dangling like that in front of your nose and not be able to take a bite sort of speak. Maybe you can change the offer into something else or perhaps just remove that from the menu altogether? And the credits seem AWFULLY expensive considering what you get...Not trying to be a whiner here, but it just seems odd that you continue to have these offers on the screen and not being able to buy them?

And as far as the amount of MC for your money, and Atlas costs roughly $24. Which seems just about right as it would take an adverage player (especially if they pug and dont have Premium/Founder Mechs) about two weeks of work ingame to save up that much. imo. But I wouldnt complain if MC prices changed a bit.

I'm a Founder member. Never touched my MC (20000) as I like to bank as I play. When the MWO goes live after BETA testing, will I lose my MC?

Nope!

And welcome to mwo. I recommend that you read the stickied posts, and the many dev posts. It's a lot to read, but you'll have more fun.

Oh, gosh darn. I missed it. Went on vacation and was going to get the founders pack when I got back. Perfect case of when you snooze, your loose. Another "hope" destroyed.

Mate trust me, I haven't even usede my MC. Not even sure I know how. Just been making money 'grinding'. What a great way of working your way up. You get to learn the maps, you get to learn the mechs and its a win, win situation. If you have missed the Beta then just get on board when it goes live. This is the sort of game that rewards skill over equipment all day long. You can have the toughest mech out there, with all the upgrades, but unless you know how to use it, you are toast.

You could always buy a small amount of MC's for a Catapult or something similar and go from there. Its a decent mech to grind with and earn some cbills.

Yeah I was cash strapped when I first discovered the game. Now that I am reenabled (like the day after I got the job offer) I am searching everywhere for the Founder's package and... seems I am a week late! If there is any way to buy in still, please let me know! I was completely hoping to go all in.

Ok the only real advantage that the founders have right now (that you can not get in any other way) is the founders mech. These mechs are exactly like normal mechs but they have a permanent 25% C-Bill boost and do not take up a mechbay slot.

It is at this point unknown if any other mech will have a similar bonus.

Anything else you can get outside of the founders deal (MC can be bought and with them you can buy premium time.)

You might as well go ahead and spend it before open beta, because it will all get refunded.

Buy and try some different mechs you might not normally go for. You might surprise yourself.

Yeah, they're gonna wipe all stats when Open Beta happens so might as well play with your MC and try stuff out.

As has been said, Founders is closed but PGI will probably offer similar deals in the future in addition to the stated cash-for-MC and premium subscriptions.
