I do. Guess what the vikings did.

I subscribe to the 18th Century "Viking Revival" romanticised version of the term, not the expanded 20th century term refering to anyone from Scandinavia during the period from the late eighth to the mid-11th centuries.

Wow, this took off a little bit faster than I expected. Also, Yakkity Yak? LOL I would use that, just to confuse the enemy first. Then play some of this: Viking Metal

Never was a big fan of growling. I for one say Eluveitie would be awesome.

Refrain:

God save Günzburg, said the heroes,

God save Günzburg said they all,

Whether on the scaffold high or the battlefield we die

Oh what matter if for Rasalhague we fall!

High upon the gallow's tree swung the noble-hearted three,

By the vengeful tyrant stricken in their bloom,

But they met him face to face with the courage of their race,

And they went with souls undaunted to their doom.

Refrain

Girt around with cruel foes, still their courage proudly rose,

For they thought of hearts that loved them far and near,

Of the millions far and near, scattered through the Inner Sphere,

Of the friends of holy Günzburg ever dear.

Refrain

Climbed they up the rugged stair, rang their voices out in prayer,

With Kuritas fateful cord around them cast,

Close beside the gallow's tree, kissed their brothers tenderly

True to home and faith and freedom to the last.

Refrain

Never 'till the latest day shall the memory pass away,

Of the gallant lives thus given for our land,

But on the cause must go amid joy or weal or woe,

'till we make our world a nation free and grand.

Refrain

Did you make that Leitwolf, or find it? Because I'm really tempted to make a song around that.

I would have to say Amon Amarth, Korpiklaani, Eluveitie, and Opeth for sure!!..... For those who are more into the American Metal I would say, In Flames....

No, Trevnor. My friend Jägermeister did this 15 years or so ago. This is the official Günzburg Igels Battlehymn. :D
But the original is an irish-rebel-song ;-)

For the german speaking vikings here, there is only one true Rasalhague-Rockband: TORFROCK
Because they have real viking songs like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1O248y7eY8&feature=related

ROLLO RULES!!!!!!!!!! ^_^

That is awesome. If I may, I might attempt to make a song around that, if it's okay with Jagermeister, or whomever he got the song from. If it's public IP, then I'll just do it.

Also, Avatar screen shots for a wicked sounding German song? Awesome. I don't understand a word of it, but it's awesome nonetheless. ^_^

If you could find the original, that would be awesome! I was trying to sing it myself, but I'm pretty sure I have the wrong tempo...

Hrm.... Well, listening to it, I've got the original tempo... I'll have to rework that a bit to make it work with the different words. Gunzberg is a longer word... I'll see what I come up with this weekend!

I have posted the Link above. And believe me Günzburg works good, if you speak it like a german. We have practised it many times, when we drink mat and ale and at the gaming table :D ^_^ :P

Here's the original song, the lyrics were hardly changed... so I really can't claim any credit for it.

Ah, that brings back memories of the old days and epic tabletop battles...
Oh, and I love the viking kittys, and the Immigrant song, too.
