Yay! I am the one on the right! I really like this hoodie thing :P

But to be honest. I'd like em to be more investigative.
Asking the unpleasent questions. Not everytime, but at least sometimes.
Would be way more interesting.

But maybe its a cultural gap. I am german and germans don't like too much flattery.
And yes... in this podcast its all about playing ping pong with compliments.

If it helps you gents, I've chatted up Phil on this matter some time before and reminded him of what high praise did to another game (with tanks). It's just a matter of perspective here.

Phil has a more positive mindset and he's well aware of the problems as far as I can tell. But whereas we are stuck in the here and now (matter of perspective), he's looking beyond that and what's up ahead. Of course, the danger is that you get detached from reality, but there are enough hints between the lines that he knows a bit more than the average beta tester. And let's not forget that the crew and George are more than able to put things into perspective. They sure ain't holding back, that`s for sure.

Have to trust him I'd say and it's not like he doesn't care. Not at all. You guys must have missed completely how the show has changed gears over the last weeks, have you? It's getting crowded and where there was only George before, they have now Garth, Rudy and Alex on board. You do know who they are, do you?

hi @ all

i agree with shredhead on his objection...
there is nothing new in the podcasts... just stuff from the forums with loads of hypocrisy and lots of drivel around them...

the guys are indeed funny... but that alone doesn't take you over the whole podcast

the other issue is that a podcast, especially with interviews, should allways have a journalistic background which ngng is missing all the time! important stuff (at least for the community) is ignored and just pushed away in order not to interfere with censing each other

one thing is for sure... many questions which are indeed in the room for weeks aren't even mentioned...

It would certainly depend on how these questions are 'presented'. If you guys want some answers or suggestions coming through, I'd drop the attitude ASAP.

And don't get upset about cutting it straight. I'm doing you guys a favor here as I'm sure most wouldn't bother to deal with you if given a choice. Not with that attitude anyway. Up to you if you take the clue or not.

Cheers.

Yay! People like me even if I am an ***** at times.
Germans have always seemed to like me as I rarely hand out compliments unless I'm being paid to and NGNG isn't paying me to do anything but voices for Unit ads. PGI doesn't have a reason to pay me. Not yet, anyway.

Oh yes, there's a lot of cheer-leading at times from some. But I'm not a journalist, I'm an actor. If I want to ACT like I'm terribly excited about something I will. If I think someone needs their rug pulled out a bit, I may do that too.
It all depends on my income that week and whether or not I'm in the mood to be nice or snarky. Granted, most of my snark lately has been in the chat room during the recording as I don't want to be overly disruptive on-air. This isn't because I care if I'm disruptive but it's because I don't want Bombadil to have to do extra editing just to shut me up. I like him. He's got a beard.

Wow. The word "id ee ot" is censored? I will NEVER understand forums...

Beer. Devs got time for beer and chatter and more advertising of product with burning deadlines.

Swearing, yes. It's very relevant there.

After today's patchfail I wish you had some beer the way russian police offers champagne for detainees.

We ask everyone in the community to actively post questions on the 'community questions' for each podcast. We look at EVERY question listed and I can say I have never seen you post? We ask that you post, if you want answers to questions PLEASE post.

As George has stated, I'm not a journalist, I'm not a writer. But we know allot of you guys want different types of information in regards to the podcast, but you have to participate as well. And if those questions are asking the Dev's about a feature, delay etc we have no problem asking them, but we will do so with humility.

Thanks everyone for all the support, oh and you might want to check our 31st recording schedule for guest listings...
