dang, this post is over 1 year old!

FYI.
King Crab probably wont go in because they would have to redesign the entire critical slot mechanics for 1 mech, so that split its AC20 criticals slots.

Devistator only has 2 variants at this time so it is out.

Annihlator (all variants) can only move 32.4 KPH, even with the largest engine (240) and speed boost it tops out at 42.8 KPH

The Imp. Well given PGI's unnatural love affair with ECM, and that several IMPs have ECM, this is almost garunteed. besides they just have to recycle the Urbanmech statue model.

Look at the above concept art. If they're willing to go off-canon a bit (like the art looks up there), they'll just take actuators out of the arms. The guns were torso locked in TT anyway (crit splitting forces the guns to remain in the smaller of the two arcs they're split between). There's no point to have lower arm and hand actuators. It'd deviate from canon a little bit, but it won't be the first time they've done it and it's not a bad thing.

My kingdom for a King Crab.

Out of curiosity did the Banshee load out on a atlas /w machinegun. PPC left arm, Ac 5 right torso, small laser center, later added machine gun. It was fun, can't overheat with it would be great for a noob.......don't knock it till you try it.

Looks like the Atlas is the only 100 ton that will not suck or look awful or both.

Really? Really?! The Devastator and the King Crab look great and are great. I love what Alex did with the King Crab so far and I would love to see some quick concept art from him on the Devastator which has always been a mean 'Mech.

King Crab so I can finally type into chat

"You've been clawed"

Also given the pole options I apparently want a Banshee.

Not sure how the Annihilator would work, nobody had even heard it until those Dragoons showed up with all their mint condition Star League mechs. And so far these strange mercenaries haven't sold the design to any house, nor have any rival units been able to salvage one for study.

The Annihilator doesn't get shared with the Inner Sphere until somewhere around the 3070s, before then it is a Clan mech that even the Clans didn't use.

At the current timeline, there is 1 functioning and in use 95 ton BattleMech, the Banshee. The Nightstar was lost 250 years ago or there abouts, and doesn't actually come back into existance until 3055ish, during the FedCom Civil War when the lost plans and ability to build it are rediscovered. In 3050, there are, by canon, 0 Nightstar's in existance in the Inner Sphere and none were recorded as being taken by Alexsandr Kerensky's forces when they left the Inner Sphere nor did the Clans bring any with them or have any records of them being brought on the Exodus.

The Banshee 3E is a single variant, but not the only existing variant in 3050.

Come on folks, he gave you the links to the sarna site for each Mech, can't you take a moment of your time to read about the Mechs in question?

True, without any TT knowledge knowing that the Banshee was the only 95 tonner in the IS at this time could be excused..except...sarna allows you to pull up a list of Mechs by tonnage and you can see when each one was first introduced as well as when it was taken out of production if that happened.
